I would accept your' arguement if you provided a scriptural bases for your "Old Universe" theory. Anyway how do you know the universe is 13.5 billion years old? Were you there?

Excellent point. Why can't people take the word of the Creator as to when He created everything? Who would be in a better position to know?

The bible doesn't say that, it is not because it's not in the bible that it's not true.
The bible is not more than a collection of bedtime stories and it is NOT proof for certain statements.

The universe is much older than that. It is 13.7 billion years old.
