Actually, Missy, some scientists believe that the "Raptor" species of dinosaur has evolved into modern day birds. They believe this because some of the earlier in date fossils found also have imprints of feathers around them, and that their bones were hollow, much like modern day birds.

Sound to me like the real truth here is that the arguments of these so called scientists are as hollow as their souls. Sounds to me like they could use a refresher course at good ol' LCU.

The truth is clear as day for everyone to see right in the pages of the Bible. But if that's not good enough for you, then get your skeptical butt out to Dinosaur Valley State Park in Texas and look at the evidence for yourself. Along the Taylor Trail, there are dinosaur tracks that, in a single bedding plane (that's hifalutin' scientific doubletalk for a layer of pre-flood mud), run right along side human footprints. It wouldn't surprise me a bit to learn that this caveman kept a little dino as a pet, or maybe as the reptilian equivalent of a hunting dog.

If one were to state the evidence for Noah's flood in one sentence, one might choose this one: "The summit of Mount Everest is marine limestone." How could oceanic limestone have precipitated on the summit of Everest if the sea had never covered the mountain?

Actually, Mt. Everest has been lifted out of the ocean (and is still rising) by the northward movement of the Indian subcontinent and its resultant subduction under the Asian continent during the past few tens of million of years.)

Do your research. All of earth was under water at some point or another. Almost every mountain has either marine fossils, or some type of marine geologic features in it. And also, according to you guys, isn't the world only like 6,000 years old. It would take millions of years for oceanic limestone to form on top of Mount Everest, if it was a mountain at the time of the flood, as you claim. Do you guys even listen to yourselves when you try to use science to back up the bible?

Isn't that always the way? Once we prove our points with irrefutable Biblical and geological evidence, these "scientists" drop all pretense of open-mindedness and truth-seeking and resort to personal attacks.

DVNO, I took advanced electives in Biology, Geology, Anti-Diluvian and Post-Diluvian Creation Science, and Biblical Exegesis at Landover Christian University, and I did pretty well in them, too. Now, I don't need more than the Word of the Lord to establish a fact as the truth, but I have been on a field trip to Dinosaur Valley and I have seen the evidence with my own eyes. There is simply NO other explanation than that dinosaurs and mankind lived at the same time.

If you had any shred of decency, you'd examine these tracks yourself before coming in here and trying to confuse the faithful, but YOU JUST DON'T GET IT AND PROBABLY NEVER WILL. Be sure to send Darwin my regards when you meet him in Hell.

Well, so some say now. But many very reputable scientists of the 19th century showed quite cogently that fossil clams now found in rock outcrops high in the mountains were the result of Noah's flood.

But let us consider uniformitarianism...

Imagine that the Lord God desired to create Earth, complete and whole, with all animals upon it. Specifically, imagine that He wanted to create hippopotamuses.

Now, you may not know it, but God knows that an adult hippo cannot feed unless its teeth have been shaped by daily use since babyhood to fit together in neatly chiseled facets. Therefore, if God desired to create a world populated with adult hippos, He must needs create their teeth pre-worn to the proper shape.

In other words, He has to create the appearance of a previous history even though such a history does not in fact exist. A biologist coming upon such a newly-created hippo would say without doubt that the animal must be a dozen years old, based on the wear patterns on its teeth...but of course the Lord created the hippo and its teeth in media res.

And just as for a hippopotamus, thus for the entire Earth: A God who creates an Earth without a natural history will create an unnatural object, a shambling artifice that cannot endure.

You may object that all this is a dreadful logic-chop, that Christians presuppose God and then invent reasons to believe that He made limestone on Everest, fossil horses the size of beagles, and radioactive isotopes in a state of lamentable decay.

Well, so what?

Science is not reliable. Only God is reliable...that is, our faith in God must always trump the findings of science.

That is what it means to be a True Christian. We are the people of God, not the people of science. Science has been a popular way of thinking for perhaps 200 years. Religion has been a popular way of thinking for thousands of years.

You don't expect the ancient and powerful religious belief-pattern to just give up, do you? Look around, amigo. More Americans believe that God created man some time in the last 10,000 years than believe any other theory of human origin.

The American President is a bible-believin' man.
