    Dear Miss Kraven;

    There are no contradictions in the Holy Bible, but there are false bibles out there. Please read my sermon on the subject HERE.

    Now, please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

    And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

    I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.

    YIC,

    Not sure what you mean friend. There is a wonderful device, called a printing press. Using 'plates' with letters on them, they cover them in a layer of ink then press it against paper, making a page. They can do this over and over making many copies of a Bible. It is really quite marvelous!

    Who is telling you there are multiple Bibles? The Bible(KJV1611) is the Bible. Others are redacted or edited to muddy the message of Jesus.

    2nd Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"
    Deuteronomy 4:2 "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you."
    Revelation 22:18-19 "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."
    Psalm 12:6-7 "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."

    As YOU are asserting that God did not inspire the Bible you must substantiate your claim with evidence or retract your baseless claim.

    It's true because only God could have written it. Now stop debating and start worshiping Jesus.

    Okay. I just made up this little graphic in Maple 15, so please take a moment to look at it and try to follow along closely. A circle is defined as the collection of points which are equidistant from a central point or center. The distance of the points on the circle from the central point or center is called the radius. Twice the radius is the diameter. Now, we can inscribe (draw inside and touching) a hexagon (six-sided shape) with equal side lengths and equal interior angles inside a circle. Let's say the circle has a diameter of 2, so a radius of 1. The circle and the hexagon will have the same center (because the hexagon is equal-sided and inscribed). Now draw a line from the center of the circle to each angle in the hexagon (the angles are where the hexagon touches the circle). This divides the hexagon into six triangles of equal size. The sides of the triangles that go from the center of the circle to the edge of the circle must have side length 1 because that is the radius of the circle. Also, the angle in the triangles between those two radial sides must be 60 degrees because all six identical triangles together go all the way around the center of the circle, so 360 degrees in total (360/6 = 60). The other two angles in each triangle must be equal because of the two sides being equal (isosceles triangle). As you know, the three interior angles of a triangle sum to 180 degrees, therefore the other two angles are 60 degrees each (60+60+60=180). Therefore these six triangles are equilateral triangles, that is, all three sides are the same length, namely length 1. If we add up the perimeter of the hexagon, then, we get 6. Now, the shortest distance between any two points is a straight line as we all know. If we look at the circular arcs between the points where the circle and the hexagon touch, those arcs are not straight lines, so they must be longer than 1. Therefore the perimeter of the circle is more than 6. Therefore the ratio of the circle's circumference to its diameter is more than 6/2=3. Therefore Pi does not equal 3.

    I made a graphic to illustrate in case anyone has trouble picturing everything or remembering 9th grade geometry.
    I don't get your math but the bible says pi is 3, so pi is 3.
    It just doesn't make sense as anything else.
