sorry about that - I was noting all those daft statements from numerous posts - such as:

• religion’s petty rules are outdated .. but what isn’t outdated is the message that .. Moses was preaching

..I mean, hasn't he read anything that Moses wrote? (5 books of "petty" rules, for example) (oh, there isn't anything else..)

.....................oh, yes - and the Law sent from God to us through Moses says very clearly to kill homosexuals because they are an abomination.


Nobody has to agree with that, but IT IS WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS so it doesn't sound like God made them homosexual (unless the poster was referring to some other god, not in The Bible).

• gays: God made them that way
• message of peace and holiness .. so He used Mohammed
• wearing clothes of blended material would be unthinkable for a catholic (who don't follow a single Biblical precept and usually do the exact opposite!)

this is my take on this issue with God's help.

1) All Powerful God can build mountain that he can not lift.
2) If All Powerful God builds mountain that he can not lift then he is not All Powerful anymore.
3) All Powerful God chooses not to build mountain that he can't lift.

Conclusion
God can build mountain that he can't lift but he doesn't want to do it.He is not stupid.
He always wants to be All Powerfull. If you refuse to believe God and damand proof from him that
he can build mountain then God reply will be "Belief is your problem, not mine"

Please quote the Bible for these "facts". This is an old atheist argument that has no fact.

You were the one who said that religion is "about living life in a way that you can look back on and be happy with", so I brought up a couple of situations where the person is happy, so obviously according to your definition they're very religious.

I am sorry that you don't realize how infested with demons you are. There is only one cure for that; Jesus Christ. You must turn your life over to Him, get baptized (real baptism) and start following the KJV 1611 TO THE LETTER! Only by doing this can you rid yourself of all that anger and hatred you are feeling.
