Maybe cause the bible was written over 200 years ago over the course of centuries. By about at least 15 different authors, and written 30 or 50 years after the events that actually took place. There are countless contradictions all over the bible, not to mention the four gospels. And then to finish it off the book has been translated more times than you can count.

If there really was a god he should be able to write a book in at least one day. I mean come on he supposedly made the entire universe in 6 days he should be able to write ONE book in at least an hour if he is all powerful. He should be able to just snap it into existence, written in all languages no mistranslation. Your god has faded into myth just like every other god before it.

He needs look no further than the inspirational scripture in my signature.

First you say that God is evil, then you say He is too good to punish His creation.

If God is omnipotent, how could there be a mistranslation of His Message floating around out there? That could only be if He wanted us to be misinformed, in which case, that would be the message He intended for us to have.

God is not so weak and helpless that Satan could succeed at misinforming the world about His Message. If the KJV Bible, the most widely circulated of all Bibles, is a mistranslation, then either Satan won, or there is no God. So that couldn't possibly be the case.

Is this what it says it is?....the scriptures are easy to misinterpret...just as all the bible is ...why do you think so many versions of it exist?..and so many people with their own ideas on what scriptures mean...

On the one hand I am moved to not answer him thusly:
Proverbs 26 4Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
I will therefore rely on scripture.

Because quite clearly he is a fool:

Also I am minded of this:

There are many warnings for such a one.

So I guess it is important to answer him after all:
