What is this evil water cycle these trolls speak of. This must be the ceremonies of satanic and catholic practices!

Atheists love to argue. If you say the sky is blue they'll tell you that it is "due to the earth's water reflecting on the color spectrum and giving the illusion that the sky is blue."
What is up with them? Why do they have to argue so much? Only Jesus can take their misery away.

You are so right Pim! The air we breathe is an allowance of the one, and can be taken away at any second. Whenever I see a tank marked with flammable I know the devil is close, and any time I see the precious water disappear it is Satan's unwavering work. These fools will fall prey to these scientific theories but not I.

Really? I've never seen water evaporate. Evaporation is something you take on faith. And we can't see Jesus walking around healing people today because He is now sitting at God's right hand, waiting to come in Judgement. But we do have an account of His miracles in the 1611 KJV. What more proof do you need?

Again, oxygen is another renewable resource. Trees and other planes consume carbon dioxide and then release oxygen into the atmosphere. It doesn't matter how much oxygen people breathe, as long as there are trees and plants, there will always be more oxygen.
Oxygen doesn't exist. I would direct you to the Biblical periodic table of elements. There is only air.

That is the reaction you should expect to get from anyone with a 3rd grade understanding of science and biology.
No. It's the reaction you get from people who haven't been home schooled, who are ignorant of the facts presented in the Bible.

Reincarnation IS an afterlife; it requires transmigration and continued existence of the soul.

Here's a great discourse on Karma. I'll give you a sample:

“So, Shirlee, we don’t need to hear about why atheists can’t believe in karma. But you said karma is hateful; how about you tell us what it is and why it’s hateful?”

“Of course, John! I’ll use a resource even Mark there can respect as ‘unbiased’.” Shirlee handed out a sheet to the class:
    From http://www.skepdic.com/karma.html
Karma is a law in Hinduism which maintains that every act done, no matter how insignificant, will eventually return to the doer with equal impact. Good will be returned with good; evil with evil. Since Hindus believe in reincarnation, karma knows no simple birth/death boundaries. If good or evil befall you, it is because of something you did in this or a previous lifetime.
Karma is sometimes referred to as a “moral law of cause and effect.” Karma is both an encouragement to do good and to avoid evil, as well as an explanation for whatever good or evil befalls a person.

On one level, karma serves to explain why good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people. The injustices of the world, the seeming random distribution of good and evil, are only apparent. In reality, everybody is getting what he or she deserves. Even the child brutalized by drugged adults deserves the horror. The mentally ill, the retarded, and the millions of Jews killed by the Nazis deserved it for evil they must have done in the past. The slave beaten to within a breath of death deserved it, if not for what he did today, then for what he did in some previous lifetime. Likewise for the rape victim. She is just getting what she deserves. All suffering is deserved, according to the law of karma.
    The class sat silent, dumbfounded.

“Do you realize what that means, John? According to your belief in Karma, you should never help the mentally ill, or Jews, or the sick, or the poor. As the Skeptic’s Dictionary plainly states, the mentally ill are mentally ill because they did bad things in a prior life and are getting what they deserve. Toddlers dying of dysentery-induced diarrhea (basically, pooping themselves to death) because they lack clean water, or born addicted to crack or with AIDS or blinded by Mommy’s gonorrhea infection deserve it, because of bad karma. They did something bad in a ‘prior life’.

“That’s what you believe in, John. Does it sound hateful yet?”

    “Well, it’s . . . I can see how . . . um . . .”

Shirlee wasn’t finished. “Did you know that karma is also the foundation of the Hindu caste system?”
The bible got where we came from wrong!
It said we were the center of the universe!
It said we were 6000 years old!
Please show me where the Bible says we are the center of the universe, and where it says anybody is 6,000 years old.
Yup as you can see that's it, not that I have pointed out how plagiarized it really is. Not because I am a gay man and I know no God would condemn love.
So you know better not just than the Abrahamic religions, but every religion in the world that was not invented within the last century (and some that were, like Scientology)?

Where do you get your knowledge of your god?

Does it not strike you as the least bit convenient that your god happens to agree with you on everything, and that you are the only one who knows what it really wants and feels?

Reincarnation, seriously? I'm gonna guess karma, too (forced to guess because you won't volunteer anything, aside from the fact you think everyone else is wrong about everything)?

...The only evidence I need to present, is energy can never die...
Energy is never alive to begin with.

...We are nothing more then energy...
Side quibble (my internal grammar nazi is screaming in Hochdeutsche right now): "Than" is used for comparisons, "then" is used like "subsequently".

We are nothing more than energy? You're trying to take this conversation down the metaphysical path, where you redefine words on the fly to keep moving the goalposts, and never say anything that actually means anything so no one can prove that you're just pulling shit from your ass and therefore you can declare "victory".

... so if we are transformed into something new after death, is that not the afterlife? Our new state of energy.....?...
Anything can be anything if words mean whatever you want them to.

...I didn't say it was, but I'm certainly not going to believe the hypocrisy of religion over my own instincts...
How about trying to learn what religion has to say before you decide it's "hypocritical"? How about learning what "hypocritical" means before you try to use it in a sentence?

...Once you do that, you let go of every part of you that makes you human, if god wanted us all to be the exact same, we wouldn't have a conscious or awareness...
Or (I love this bit of logic), God made us all different because some of us have to go to Hell, because He made Hell, and what would be the point of making Hell if no one ever got sent there?

...We wold be no different than any other animal roaming this planet. We are different because we're suppose to be..... End of story...
Not end of story, only the end of your mind's ability to cope.

...Please oh so smart one, point out where I said I believe in an afterlife?...
It kinda follows from a belief in a deity. If no afterlife, why worship anything? There's not going to be a reward or punishment waiting, so why let it affect your life in the slightest?

... I find it odd you claim to be an Atheist, yet you're defending their beliefs and acting like one...
Grammar nazi screaming again. Don't capitalize atheist (unless it's the first word of a sentence, or part of a title of a group like American Atheists), it's not a proper noun.

How have I defended their beliefs? Can't you distinguish between trying to help you understand what they believe, and actually holding those beliefs myself?

...Not because I am a gay man and I know no God would condemn love...
I'd like to see the evidence for this "knowledge". You have to have it, because you used the word "knowledge" and not "belief". So put up or admit you're full of shit.

...Seriously, I've debated with better 3rd graders...
Oh nooooooeees, he used the ultimate ad hominem counterattack. Everything anyone says has been pre-refuted. We've lost.

We've lost to a guy who debates 3rd graders.

No I refuse to believe in the bible because the same story pre-dates Christianity and no I am not speaking of just Zeitgeist. I have seen the movie but have done my own research as well. I took astrology and I loved it. You can easily trace every aspect of modern religion to a pre-existing one and then all the way back to pagans worshipping the stars.
