I am so confused. You're suggesting that when God said,

"Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters," (Genesis 1:6),

He really meant, "Let there be a bunch of steam alongside this hot, molten ball of rock which will one day cool off, whereby eventually the waters can be divided from the waters."

Until the 3rd day all there was was water above the firmament and water below the firmament. Are you suggesting that your 'star' was made of water?
