So how should one read, correctly, these words?
MARK 9:17-29 And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit; And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not. He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me. And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming. And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead. But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose. And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. KJV

The situation described seems quite clear to me and the remedy explained. If you have an alternative explanation I would be interested to learn what your source is?

Oh well, luckily you are a minority. I'll go to sleep now, and convert to Buddhism tomorrow. Have a nice life.
I am so sorry, but your life is not going to be so nice.
    The Devil is waiting you.

Well duh! Buddhism is a made-up religion, so they can change it like any edited work of fiction. Christianity is Real, and therefore Immutable. The TRUTH does not change.

I'll pray for you. I'll pray that you crawl to the nearest Baptist church and beg the Pastor to rid you of your retard demon.

Your mere presence here on God's Favorite Forum insults me to my very core. The LBC website is an extension, an outreach if you will, of the Landover Baptist Church itself. Think of it as a virtual annex. By coming here were we join in blissful praise of our Lord and Savior, you are essentially stepping foot in the House of God and drooling on His Immaculate Floors. Your presence here sickens God, and therefore us.

Let's not get childish here, if the drooling retard isn't insulting you, there is no reason to lower yourself to the level of such action.

Before your rebirth, you still were capable of being wrong, correct? Now, should you start questioning the information you've gathered before your rebirth?

Where did you get this information? The bible.

Let's compare these two situations, shall we?

    Situation #1

You read the bible, and it claims something. You correctly understand the meaning of the claim; you being Perfect.

The result is that you are perfect.

    Situation #2

You read the bible, and it claims something. You incorrectly understand the meaning of the claim; you being Perfect.

As the bible in this situation does not claim that you are perfect, you can misunderstand what it says. The result is a human mistake.
You're just trying to pick a fight with me, but it won't work. I know the Truth, and the Truth has set me free!

    You're fighting because you're bitter.

You're bitter because the devil has you in his clutches. He's playing a game with your soul. You don't have to let him! You can let Jesus win!

Isn't it time to let Jesus win?!?

Typical of your ilk, the drooling retard, you are too dull witted to comprehend that we CANNOT BE WRONG, because through our rebirth, GOD MADE US PERFECT! It is IMPOSSIBLE for us to incorrectly understand the Bible. It says so, right there in the Bible, which you would know were you not a drooling retard demon-spawn.

    Dear Null Eight,

Thank you for your 4 PMs asking me if Landover Christian University Library has a picture of Jesus playing drums.

Your argument is so faulty you completely dismissed it and returned to "am not!"

If I am incorrect, it is only because the Holy Bible is incorrect. We know the Holy Bible is the inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16), therefore, my argument is similarly inerrant.
