The Earth is not a 'land mass sitting on top of fluids like a cork in a pond'. It is one solid mass supported by the pillars of the firmament. The waters rest on top of the earth.
To prove this, place a shovel full of dirt in a pond. It sinks to the bottom. Therefore, the Earth cannot be 'floating'. Also, years ago, wires were strung between the Brits and the US. If the land surfaces were floating, the wires inevitable would of either been stretched and broken or would prevent the movement. Proof there is no 'shifting Teutonic Land Plates'.

It works like a helium balloon, the rubber of the balloon itself will fall to earth as it's density is far great than that of air, but it counteracts this by the helium, which is lighter than air, and therefore carries the balloon, this can be observed but the balloons shape, larger at the top as that's where the lighter helium will travel. If you pop the balloon the helium escapes and the balloon falls to earth, if you put a whole in the ship the air escapes and the ship sinks. If you had a large enough turbine, that was 100miles long and withstand the immense heat of magma then you may have an effect on the movements in some sort of way.
Fracking, which is the extraction of gas through mining techniques. The power imposed on the tectonic plate shake the plates, this is empirical evidence, first proved in your own secular nation.

Nevertheless the first part is logical, you don't need to know anything about anything to have faith in anything, it will be true to you, wherever your faith lies
