Re: Evolution
It has not been proven, not even remotely, that the speed of light has remained constant since the beginning.
See the talk by João Magueijo regarding why mainstream scientists are open to the possibility that the speed of light is not constant. Now, I'm not a big fan of Magueijo--like other non-creation science "scientists," he believes in Darwinian evolution, a universe many billions of years old, the kinetic theory of gasses, etc. But at least you can see in his work that the mainstream scientific view of the universe is based on assumptions that deserved to be challenged.
Can you do the same? Please explain the following to me:
In the Book of Isaiah, written about 700 years before Christ was born, the prophet records among the things that the Lord says:
When I say of Cyrus, ‘He is my shepherd,’
he will certainly do as I say.
He will command, ‘Rebuild Jerusalem’;
he will say, ‘Restore the Temple.’”
-- Isaiah 44:28
100 years later, King Nebuchadnezzar sacked Jerusalem, destryoing the Temple and taking the people of Israel as slaves into exile in Babylon. Around 50 years after that, the emporer Cyrus of Persia conquered the Babylonians, returned the Hebrews to the Promised Land, and paid to rebuild the Temple. These events, and their timing, are well documented in Babylonian, Persian, and Greek texts and the archaeological record.
So, Mr. Swallow Your Ego and look at the facts, if God didn't tell this to the prophet Isaiah, how did Isaiah know the name of the guy who would rebuild the Temple 150 years later?

Sometimes you must swallow your ego and look at the facts.
