In that Book He could have told them about sterile technique, simply having them boil instruments before lancing boils, circumcising boys, or cleaning gangrenous wounds. He could have told them how to make gunpowder -- a few bombs would have put paid to those Hittites, iron chariots or no! He could have given them higher mathematics, algebra and even the calculus -- a great gift indeed to a people he wanted to succeed beyond the dreams of Dale Carnegie.

But He did not do it. No sir! There is nothing in the Bible that is inconsistent with the mind of a bronze-age goatherd.

And that's why it is so marvelous! How can you NOT believe in a God who so cleverly, so duplicitiously, conceals His perfect and all-encompassing knowledge of physics, biology, math, and chemistry? What a Guy! What a Deity!

God is omniscient and eternal. The Bible is His great book of knowledge; as the late lamented Jerry Falwell said, it is the perfect and comprehensive reference for matters of history, morality, ethics, religion, and science.

God, being all-knowing, told us clearly that bats are birds and not mammals. God is always right. If you don't believe that, then you don't believe the Bible and every Christian knows you are damned to Hell. It's as simple as that, sinner!
