There are no contradictions in God's Holy Word. The Bible tells us that the reason you can't understand the Word of God is because your father is satan.
Now i was actually speaking to pastor Bathfire and not you,
since he is apparently willing to debate in a civil fasion,
without just pointing out that my father is the devil and whatnot,
i will not deny this though taken into consideration that ive never known my father.
but since you came with this little note on my text anyways i will indulge
you with how i see it since you seem interested in debating after all,
if not i would supose that you wouldnt have interfered in my own and Bathfires debate.
first of let me ask: Do you not follow the word of the bible without interpretation?
if so how can you both hate and honor thy father if it is not for the
fact of tolerance? and if it is still not about tolerance then is it not
a contradictory in terms?
and please if you wish to discus further with me please refrain from
merely telling me that i shall jump into volcanos, im the son of the devil
and all that stuff wich you really do not know and then instead tell me why i try so hard to understand the word of your god if i am really that bad...
Racist! Stop trolling our forum with your dirty, heathen mouth and your uncouth vocabulary! We do not approve of your racist tongue! What if I was a jigaboo reading through this thread and suddenly I come across your filthy post? How do you think that would make me feel?
Matthew 18:21-22 compared with, say, 2 Chronicles 15:13
i see this as a great contradictory statement in the bible unless
you see the new testament (as i have previously mentioned somewhere else in here) as the reform of gods will, by jesus his one and only son,
just like any other good story it has to evolve its plot or it wont be
able to entertain you until the end...

John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

No, it is NOT! It is being sure that you’ll get your money!
[SIZE=2][FONT=Verdana]To a nation of sheep-herders, lost sheep are money – they have a value. A member of a group has a value. Jesus is giving sound, hard-headed, business advice that a peasant could understand. (I don’t know why you can’t.) The more you have working for The Lord, the better. It also gives an example to the others that, if they stray, they’ll be welcome back.
Where’s the tolerance in that? It’s business sense!
I don’t read posts that praise me – I am a humble man and don’t have that sort of time. I have no answer other than there must have been a good reason.
Think of it. Do you have a brother? Is he a pain in the ass? How long do you think that it will take for him to annoy you 490 times? A year? Two years?
All Jesus is saying is, “Don’t fly into a rage, wait until the evidence builds up and everyone can see you’re right.” The sub-text is that you should keep a record of everyone that annoys you to see when you can respond in a language and with actions they will understand.
(That evidence will look good in court also)
How do you see Matthew 18:21-22 compared with, say, 2 Chronicles 15:13 Whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman or Luke 19:27?
First off it was not so much a post intented to praise as such,
but more just the reason why your word was the one i was really interested in learning about, a stating of how i found that you treated me with respect and therefore i saw no other reason to treat you with any other, and you seemed (ever so humble as you may be) as a gentleman,
therefore i am interested in speaking with you, so i ask of you because i see absolutely no sighn of blasphemy in any of my words and because the post was directed at you i humbly ask of you to read all my previous posts here and tell me excactly where i blaspheme or smear you or any other,
i simply ask questions as i have said before am curious and i wish to understand and personally i dont see these things anywhere in my posts,
i try to be as civil as possible, while having a gentlemans debate,
if you wish to talk privately over something other than skype, then
we can du that aswell...
well on to the other points...
as i have by now understood in here is that you follow the word of
the bible to the letter, without interpretations at all,
i have more than once seen people in here declare that nothing in here
can be bent or understood in other ways than how it is written,
again correct me here if im wrong but as i grasp it by now is that
every word and every letter in the king james 1611 version of the bible wich is the ONLY true bible in exsistance and because it is the excact word of God none of it can be disputed right?
well it seems to me that when you talk about subtext when jesus says
that the brother should be forgiven all those times all he says is: I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
In the context of forgiving and with this in mind does that not mean to be tolerant wich is defined by accepting something, despite not liking it...
but again please tell me where i am wrong...
Oh and about the stray sheep if what you say is true and it is all about sound buisness sense, why in Gods name would he leave his entire herd untended to go look for a single stray sheep, wouldnt the loss of one sheep still be cheaper than the potential loss of the rest of the herd?
well that is all the time i have for tonight, but i am enthusiastic to read
your response wich i hope you are still interested in granting me,
so too all out there reading this you may have a good night
[…] but when he gives him time to pay it back instead of having to sell his kids to get the debt at once is that not being tolerant?
No, it is NOT! It is being sure that you’ll get your money!
and when jesus talks about rejoicing about they stray sheep he got back to the flock more than he would do over the ninety and nine that stayed,
is that not about tolerance for the stray sheep and forgiving it for going astray or am i completely wrong on this one as well and if so what does he speak about here?

the only response i got when asking it in my last post was to go jump in a volcano, but how can a post talking about respect for you and wisdom on your part as a holy man be considered unholy and blasphemous, even though it apparently had been written in verses? (without it being intended)
I don’t read posts that praise me – I am a humble man and don’t have that sort of time. I have no answer other than there must have been a good reason.
to follow up on my questions about tolerance in the Bible then i am tempted to mention Matthew 18:21-22
18:21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brothersin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 18:22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
if not this is about tolerance then what is Jesus talking about here?

Oh and Pastor Bathfire,
to follow up on my questions about tolerance in the Bible
then i am tempted to mention matthew 18:21-22
18:21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brothersin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 18:22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Why don't you just go throw yourself in a volcano and sacrifice yourself to Odin or whichever eskimo demon you worship and leave us in peace? This is a Christian forum. Unsaved NOT welcome! This means you!
i merely posted these things because i have some respect for pastor Bathfire and he himself posted as follows:
'There seemed to be some intolerance in your post - I hope I can redirect this admirable trait. '
i personally take this as an invite for a debate even though you say that this is not a forum for such a thing, but i would still like aswell to see if pastor Bathfire is capable of this... is that really that bad?
and im not the one giving warnings and infractions for talking about respect for the pastor, i just wonder why i receive them...
and by the way i am sorry that i forgot to caps Jesus, Christian and God correct it was not intended to insult and i will try not to forget that again in the future.
I agree that he wanted the debt paid, but he did retract the part about the man having to sell his kids and so forth to give him time to pay back
the debt did he not?
as i said i agree that he wanted the debt repaid and ofcorse, debt should always be repaid, but when he gives him time to pay it back instead of
having to sell his kids to get the debt at once is that not being tolerant?

and this is just for you because i apparently have disrespected you a great deal according to some of the other true christians in here
and if you see it in the same way i am truly sorry about that, but i will ask you this personally since the only response i got when asking it in my last post was to go jump in a volcano, but how can a post talking about respect for you and wisdom on your part as a holy man be considered unholy and blasphemous, even though it apparently had been written in verses? (without it being intended)
Would it be too much trouble to respect Jesus enough to properly capitalize words like "Jesus," "Christian" and "God?"
Not really, it was to ensure that the debt was paid. Debts should be paid. I see no tolerance of evil here.
I agree that he wanted the debt paid, but he did retract the part about the man having to sell his kids and so forth to give him time to pay back

how can my last post be unholy when all i do is speak about respect for the pastor Bathfire wich it seems is pretty revered in here?
and he by far seems the most resonable man in here, he is the only person whom actually answers the questions that he has been asked without
dancing around the pot (as the heathens tend to say)
and therefor it is to him i direct my posts from now on,
but again when can talk of respect and wisdom about your own holy man be considered blasphemy and unholy?
Why don't you just go throw yourself in a volcano and sacrifice yourself to Odin or whichever eskimo demon you worship and leave us in peace? This is a Christian forum. Unsaved NOT welcome! This means you!
Didn't I warn you against this? Well anyway, I fixed your unholy mess.
