So the sun creates heat, but not in space, only on the earth because the Earth is not in space? So you're saying that if the molecules of my body were in space, infrared molecules would not excite them, creating heat, because I am not on Earth? Or is what you're saying that there is no heat in space unless someone goes up to check, in which case there is heat, but only because they're there to check it?

Are you sure you haven't gotten your philosophy and science classes mixed up? If a tree falls in the forest...

you said heat doesn't travel through a vacuum, so how does the heat from the sun get here?

on a hot summer day, you feel your skin crisp correct? that is the UV rays pounding against your skin, idiot. put sunscreen on and see what happens. your skin will not burn because sunscreen reflects the rays thus causes your skin not to produce melanin. but no matter how how it is in a place, your skin will not tan. heat does not travel in a vacuum look it up if you dont believe me. light, infrared, excites molecules and increases kinetic energy thus creating the sensation of heat. you can only feel heat with a medium or in a vacuum state, direct touch. and no the sun isnt made of coal because there is no oxygen in space. im literally teaching a toddler here.

sorry i typed too fast, troposphere was supposed to be thermosphere in the second sentence. and btw i thought yall didnt use scientific formulas because they were all wrong because science is stupid. hypocrites

i did and it was stupid because he missed out on the fact that heat doesnt travel in a vacuum. past the troposphere, is the exosphere that molecules are so spread out that they rarely collide. i dont know where he got the second equation because he plugged A plus B and got fish but from he did perform the wien's displacement formula correctly. hypothetically lets say that was true, the sun was 470 miles above the earth. 1.) satellites and astronauts would be about 200 miles or closer to the sun. they would fried due to the bombardment of gamma, x, and UV rays. 2.) heat DOES NOT travel in a vacuum. god i hate repeating myself. light will travel where as heat needs molecules to collide with. this is middle school science here christ

look at my other posts numb nuts. 3.8 at texas tech university with honors not community college which im doubting you even made it that far. right, you scored over a 150 ill believe that when god appears to me and we go golfing together. you are right, however, energy does diminishes over a vast distance, thus debunks the coal theory (as if it already wasnt debunked because there is no oxygen in space. i thought i made that clear). coal does not give off high frequency rays. you can see it yourself also. burning coal doesnt create the pigment melanin to be produced in the skin. the UV rays of the sun do that. the energy of a burning coal is far less than the exothermic energy of fusion. earth is in the habitable zone give or take several 100,000 miles and as you can see (probably not) mars cannot support human life because the UV rays are too weak to warm up the air around it let alone heat coming from a burning coal. but oh wait, heat can not travel through a vacuum because there are no molecules to transfer the energy. heat is strictly how fast atoms are moving in a specific state, its kinetic energy. light actually travels through a vacuum, UV is a form of invisible light along with gamma, x, infrared, microwave, and radio.

Thank you for explaining this, Brother, that does explain why I have not achieved that status here. My IQ was tested by missionaries, several years ago, and found to be only 146. The test was administered in English, which I had not yet learned to read or write. I am shamed by my ignorance.

and james, the special ed jokes have been dead since junior high grow up. and you are a fundamentalist. you are the definition of a fundamentalist. i am arguing with an adult with the IQ of a toddler. you are so stubborn to open your damn to facts let alone other possibilities. and expand your vocabulary.

Do you think you are amusing anyone? The Christians here have shown that you lack basic knowledge and that you are devoid of logic skills. They have done so gently, yet you respond with attacks borne of anger, desperation and denial. I do not know you have been tolerated thus far. You owe both Brother James and Brother Enoch an apology!

No need to insult your intelligence, you seem to be doing fine all on your own.
I have never met such a narrow minded person in my life. Just because someones thoughts are different, you have to go bashing them all over the Internet.
    Wow, just wow!

So the sun should be invisible if you are correct that it is fusion and visible if we are correct that it is burning coal. Oh, look. I can see the sun!
