Re: Easter is about Jesus. Period

I couldn't spend all day in church yesterday because there are all Catholic churches and Mormon churches & temples from Asian religions...therefor I spent the day in my backyard praying in 12 half hour long sessions.

I agree and when my kids were young there was no "Easter baskets" at our house. They spent all day in church like they should have been doing.

Oh, I love bunnies very much

1 fryer rabbit, cut up 1
or substitute stewer rabbit and increase cooking time
    60 mL shortening 1/4 cup
    720 mL water 3 cups
    3 medium potatoes, diced 3
    3 medium carrots, diced 3
60 mL parsley, chopped 1/4 cup
    1 medium onion, sliced 1
    5 mL salt 1 tsp
    1 mL pepper 1/4 tsp
    2 mL paprika 1/2 tsp
    60 mL flour 1/4 cup
    120 mL water 1/2 cup
    batter for dumplings, optional

Brown rabbit in hot shortening in dutch oven. Add boiling water. Cover and simmer 30 minutes (1 hour for mature rabbit) or until almost tender. Add vegetables and seasonings; cook until vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.
Blend together flour and cold water to form a paste. Stir into stew, cooking until slightly thickened. Dumplings may be steamed with the stew if desired.

Emmie Lou's dog came home with a bunny the other day. It was the cutest little thing. They played and played and played all afternoon together.

I took a picture to send out with our Easter cards.

I'd choose a rabbit casserole with Sister Thumper any day. Sounds HOT!

The Easter bunny is a religious mascot, it doesn't have to have anything to do with Jesus.

Easter is serious business so stifle the fun factory and get back to appreciating Jesus.
The jokes you make about Jesus 'hopping' like the Easter bunny AREN'T funny. Easter is not just some kind of 'fun factory'. Grow up.

PS No bunnies allowed and this forum will close soon after the anniversary of HIS resurrection.
What about freedom for all bunnies?

You'd be considerably less blasphemous than the average Papist, that's what.

What if you just Let Go and Let God!

With those colors and your choice of the 'Crucifix' Smiley, you just might be off to a good start here!
