Perhaps we should build a replica of Christ's tomb at Freehold just for this purpose. I'm certain it wouldn't count as a graven image.

A BELIEF is not an explanation.
You could believe whatever, but that doesn't make it true.
You could believe the sky is green, but it's blue..
Let's stick to facts here shall we, how do you explain that Jesus came back during easter if He was dead?

This tomb isn't the tomb of Jesus, if Jesus is buried there. (Cause Jesus is alive and not buried, PRAISE!)
As Jesus left His tomb when He was ressurected, the tomb would be totally empty if it was the true one.
These silly atheists have some severe problems when it comes to logic thinking!

If they think that sticking some box into a cave and writing "Jesus" on it, is going to fool God's elect they must be retarded!

I agree with Sister Sue, we need to have a crucifixion! I wonder if we might be able to raffle off crucifixions so we might raise money for Pastor Pistle's new opal sink?

Not for much longer, if the antichrist nazi dogs at the EU have anything to do with it!
The Czech Republic has asked the European Union for a permanent exemption on legislation governing the production of slivovice, or plum brandy. The Czech News Agency report claimed the distilling of slivovice did not conform to the EU's directives on the production of fruit-based spirits. Mostly produced in Moravia, slivovice differs from similar plum brandies because alcohol is added to the mixture during the distilling process, a procedure banned in the EU.
I'm nearly certain that the prohibition of slivovice is mentioned somewhere in Revelation as a sign of the End Times.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

What's wrong with allowing a child believe in the Easter bunny? Is it not the same as one believing in Santa Claus? As long as we as parents teach them the true meaning of this Holiday's why not allow them to have a little fun? I believe in allowing my children partake in Trick O Treating as well, I see no harm in it. They're children.

The Easter Bunny, like Satan Claus, is a fictional character about which parents LIE to their children.

We at Landover Baptist Church do not teach our children to wait for the Easter Bunny to bring them presents, nor Santa at Christmas.

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of our Savior, not a time for kids to say GIMME GIMME PRESENTS! Easter is the celebration of our Savior's resurrection, not a time for egg-laying rabbits (more GIMME GIMME!).

So, I see you lie to your children about Satan Claus. You tell them that an obese pedophile is watching their every move -- he sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake -- obsessively writing down each deed, so he may reward them annually. You use ridiculous lies and perversion to control your children, yet react with outrage at an honest, Godly use of a switch?

I assume you use the same technique with the rabbit.

I will never understand such distorted morals.

You know, there is a difference between the etymology of a word (Oestara, Easter) and the effective origins of the tradition, which are in no way traceable to some kind of hurdy-gurdy belief.

I was always under the impression that olestra was a Godly chemcal additive designed by Proctor and Gamble to save costs in the production of the junk food they survive on (whats a little "anal leakage" between friends?).

What connection it has to the pagan witch fertility ceremonies of Easter is beyond me.
