    That's no surprise.

It sounds like your Pastor isn't worth whatever they are paying him.
You need to find a better Church ASAP!

Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

And I AM open to what you have to say, but scripture is scripture. Do you really think this religion is so hateful against others, if it is than you are dong what the Muslims Koran says. Their book says to kill all who arent muslim.

        Yeah, scripture is scripture.

Who said anything about killing them? What kind of whacko are you?

What is hateful about scourging and rebuking sinners? Do you really think they are going to Heaven if they are doing wrong? No, of course not! You correct them!

        Hebrews 12:6-8
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

        2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

That's a common misconception ignorant republicans have been told of a verse taken out of context. The Qur'an says to tax non-believers (Dhimmis) under the Jizya and that they are not allowed to have signs on their churches and temples.

The tax from non-believers was very lucrative for the early Islamic rulers, but most eventually converted out of monetary reasons instead of pain of death.

Proverbs 25:21-22 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.

              So does the Bible.

              Deuteronomy 13:6-10
If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die.

              2 Chronicles 15:13
Whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.
              Who Will Jesus Damn?

Re: Unsaved Unwelcome, Even on Easter Sunday!

I apologize for not remembering the book or verse, but i do recall reading that there where sins that cannot be forgiven, or am I mistaking?

I am sure it's incorrect to say one can simple trespass on the Lords turf, for He will discipline.

I think Pastor Ezekiel makes a good statement on not allowing the unsaved and C&E Christians into His home. I actually admire the statement which makes attending Church a privilege that should be earned by going out and Evangelize.

                Thumbs up!

You know when I joined the Youth Alpha discussion group about Christianity when i was in my agnostic phase... I once stated that all religious roads where leading to the same ends (any god or God) I got frustrated with a person that called himself a 'christian'. He stated that Christianity was superior to Islam because Muslims had to pray five times per day and Christians would be forgiven for anything anyway. It actually angered me when he said that.

Nice to read that there are churches (and their clergymen of course) that are making more sensible arguments

You are correct: Mark 3:29 "But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation."

Lest we forget that C&E Christians are NOT welcome. If you have let your membership expire, you will have to attend the public meetings at the Des Moines Holiday Inn we are required by law to hold. (But not on Easter)

Those seats can be better served by tithe paying members.

                        Thank you for understanding.

Following your community leadership, Brother Jones, we've been doing our PreEaster law enforcement training in the Freehold PD. Officiers are being provided every church member's picture. We think we can quickly recognize unwelcome visitors.

This is such a holy time for our Freehold citizens. Our job at City Hall is to make sure it is not soiled by interlopers.
