Re: Easter Bake Off!
The reason I want to know, is that if the type of camera is different from the one used in the Australian photo contest , that means your'e right that your picture is different. And anyway, I have a good enough camera.

Why would Bethany even know what sort of camera it was? That sort of technical stuff is men's business.Originally posted by Basilissa View PostWhy would you care? Are you planning to steal it?

I didn't notice you trying to enter. I suspect you're jealous. So what did you make for your husband at Easter?

Re: Easter Bake Off!
No, the picture exactly matches the one in the contest . I didn't do it by eye, my browser compares photos with others on the web, and EVERY SINGLE PIXEL MATCHES . I can use photoshop to compare , if you like . Maybe someone stole the picture and accidentally put it on the 2013 page instead of 2014?Originally posted by BaptistBethany View PostNo, it wasn't the picture of the cake. All I can say is, that really is a picture of me and my husband took it while I was baking.
I guess it is just like the old saying - Everyone has a twin somewhere in the world!

Re: Easter Bake Off!
If your husband just took this picture, then why is it in the 2013 Canon Australian Professional Photography Awards ?http://www.appa.aippblog.com/index.p...silver-awards/Originally posted by BaptistBethany View PostMother of Seven, Thanks for filling me in on this poster's problem.
Also, I am hard at work preparing my submission for the Easter Bake Off.
My husband took this picture a few minutes ago. It is me preparing to bake my cake.
I'll post my submission when it is done.
Here is the specific image , under the name of Kylie Lyons.

Do we have the results? My daughters are eagerly awaiting them to see if they may have won 2nd or 3rd prizes.

Re: Easter Bake Off!
Once, I visited a friend of mine who I assumed was a True Christian woman and tried a cake she made. It tasted off, I asked her what type of flour, eggs and butter she used and she said that it was a gluten free, dairy free cake and she claimed she couldn't eat gluten or lactoseOriginally posted by Mother Of Seven View PostTaste is always more important, imo, than presentation. All real cakes should have as their basis, 4 key ingredients - butter (not margarine), sugar, eggs and flour. Without those, the cake tastes like one of those dreadful bought cakes, or even worse, a packet cake.
. Needless to say, I tossed heathen her cake in the trash and prayed all night for her soul
. It turned out she was a lesbo. Cut off all contact with her to this day.

Yes, I think there's a lot more artificial colours around now, than there used to be.Originally posted by Mary Thompson View Post
It isn't as impressive as the other entries this year but that is because I spent more time on the taste than the presentation.
