  • Pastor Tells Kids Santa Isn't Real – Jesus Is

A Texan pastor has publicly condemned parents who took their kids to the mall to see Santa. "You know in reality there are no flying reindeer," he told them, "there is no workshop in the North Pole, there is no elves making toys, that you buy all the gifts and put 'em under the tree . . . It is not your place to lie to your children." Indeed. Jesus takes lying to children very seriously.

Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Praise God this pastor had the fortitude to tell other people's children the truth – even in the face of persecution (Jn 15:18-21) – just as Jesus commanded.

Mk 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Every creature – that's every man, every woman, every child. Just watch how this pastor does it.

I don't lie to my children. I raise them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Eph 6:4). My wife also home-schools them so they won't be lied to by other adults about things like Santa or evolution.
sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Friend, if Santa will not real, then how come I am talk to him on this forum?
"When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt." - Deuteronomy 20:1

I like this one. If change "the LORD thy God" to the spirit of Juche and "the land of Egypt" to Japanese imperialism, then it can be used to metaphor Korea's struggle against the Western powers.

This post inspires me to plan for next year, should the Lord decide not to come before the holiday season. I will recruit an army of folks determined to remove the lie of Santa from our Lord's birthday celebration! GLORY! It will be a REAL Salvation Army, with bells and everything.

Oh, thank you JESUS for Your servant, Pim, who hath today brought much inspirationacism to me and hath shewn unto me Your desire to be the center of our Xmas season. Thank You Lord!
      Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
      Amen and Amen

        Hello Kim,

I think that this is so since there is no definitive proof Santa is not real. Besides that, he got me a crate of pretty nice beers. That is a pretty good argument.

Don´t lose faith Kim, and with kind regards,

        Roland
Jeremiah 6:21 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.

Best wishes for the people in Ukraine.

I talk to God every morning when I sit down with my coffee and my Bible and have my daily devotional. We have a two-way conversation. I talk to God in prayer and He speaks back to me through His Word. We have had this kind of relationship for 25 years. I know He is real.

You, on the other hand, are deluded if you think you can talk to Santa. You can't have a relationship with someone who doesn't exist.

I know it must all seem so real to you, but I am reminded of the words of Paul:

                  2 Thes 2:11-12
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

How can you be sure anything is real if God can send overwhelming delusion?

Because for I have the spirit of Juche that guides me.
