Now you're just being ridiculous. Several people have already stated that there are braille bibles. and I even have a text file of the bible on my computer. Not to mention, I can look it up online and get a perfect copy. Considering I can read this forum, I'm sure I could read the bible online. I know I should feel a bit sorry for you since you obviously can't think for yourself, but honestly, use your head for something besides a hat rack, and take ten seconds to think before you post!

I don't claim to be a good person, but needless hatred towards people, especially many people because of one thing (in this case blindness), makes me angry.

Actually, I do have a concept of connecting the dots. Believe it or not, I can visualize something like this quite easily just by imagining braille dots on a page connected by a line. I may not read print, but I have at least some idea of the shape of print letters. And, why would I lie about being blind anyway. Seems like a really stupid thing to do, honestly.

Furthermore, even if you had a screen reader, they cannot read attachments, let alone abstractly-constructed words like on the braille sheet.

You are right. I hadn't actually been able to see the attachment, but enough people had commented on it for me to get the general idea.

Hi. Since you don't appear to be showing any hatred twards the blind comunity, I will have no problem explaining this to you in a calm and friendly manner. I am just fare like that. Anyway, the blind use a program, called a screenreader, which, when installed on any computer, will read the text using synthesized speech. Sometimes, blind people get braille displays which will connect to the computer, so that they may read what is on the screen with braille. It is just a matter of preference. I prefer to use the speech. If you have a windows machine, press windows+u, and you will get an example of a screenreader. Granted, this reader is pretty bad, and it has a horid voice, but it is one that is installed on every windows machine. If windows+u does not work, try going to the run dialogue in the start menu and type Narrator. Other web sites for screenreaders include www.freedomscientific.com, www.nvda-project.org, I think, www.screenreader.net, www.yourdolphin.com. I can't garentee that all of those sites will work as I do not remember if they are .com, .org, or .net. But I am sure of the freedom scientific one as I have visited it many times. Hope that helped.

I was informed of this thread by Simon1992, who put it up on his Facebook. At the time that I saw the first message, I was not quite aware of just how stupid and purely ignorent you zealots are. Now that I have read everything, I truly know. First, let me say that I am blind, and have been since birth. I need not repeat what Simon said. I think his message somed everything up. Rather, I shall add to it. Does not the fact that you delete the accounts of those who disagree with you prove what true cowards you are? Rather than engaging in an intellectual debate, you ban them, proving that you are truly terrified of the truth. And let me add that apparently you know nothing of computer science, for if you did, you would know that it is perfectly possible for screenreaders to read anything on the screen. I can't see the pictures, but they have labels, so I can, in a sense, know what the images are. If you wish, I can put up a download link in which I demonstrate the screenreader I use. But it is most likely that I will be banned before that can happen, because you are so terrified of the truth, which is that blind people are just as good as sighted people. And one more thing. Why would Simon and me and others lie about being blind, especially in an environment where we are mocked and treated like dog droppings?

I am honestly confused how a blind person can be reading this forum.

The Lord finds the Blind offensive. He cured a few so as to show His Awesome Power but most remain blind for some sin they committed or a sin their parents or grandparents committed.

Oh, and a piece of braille paper can be made to say anything, if you braille the dots properly and connect them. Think about it...give it that entire .1% brain power you have left. Braille dots can be arranged any way you want. You could make it say anything from "Burn in hell" to "I like chocolate ice cream", and all you'd need to do is connect the dots. Do I need to start brailling things out and attach images?

Oh, and one other thing.

I'm not the only one reading this. I've now put this link up on my facebook, which has over 100 blind people reading this, including my girlfriend and many close friends of mine. If you like, I can get them all out here, and I could even spread this link all over the internet. Just watch me. I don't think any of them would be too happy to see this. Not to mention all the sighted people who know, or even know of, other blind people.

I did want to thank you though, for making me feel much better about myself. I've never thought much of my own intelligence, but reading this really boosts my self esteem.
