Thank you. you just summed up exactly what I have come out here to say, which is the following:
In my mind, there are two types of blindness. There is the physical blindness, where one's eyes do not function properly. This is what I have. Then there is mental blindness, which involves completely ignoring facts that quite clearly prove your theories to be incorrect. This, I'm afraid, is what many of you suffer from. And I think, that people such as these should be the only ones who need a cure.

Oh, and one other thing. Gay peple are just like straight people, except they happen to be attracted to the same gender, rather than the opposite one. I honestly don't understand where the problem lies, it seems like quite a simple concept. Ali is right in one thing. If we are to believe everything in a book, then where's Harry Potter. Where are all the horrible creatures from every horror story I've ever read.

Speaking of dog droppings, I've always wondered who picks up guide dog's dog dirt? I mean, your dogs make their mess everywhere, and you don't even see it happening. It's disgusting!

I watched in horror just the other day when some blind ignoramus was crossing the road, and his dog just lifted up it's leg and dropped one. And did he pick it up? No, he just left the steaming pile of filth lying there for some poor kid to step in. It's just not hygenic, and it's not nice.

If I had my way, all guide dogs would be banned from public places, or given to owners with a bit more common decency. Do you think a sighted person would let their dogs foul all over the place like that?

Hello Rachel. Well, the owner was clearly not a good owner,
for if he was, he would have done one of two things, either smelling the droppings and picking it up, or traning his dog to do his business at a particular time, or letting him know in some way that he needed to go, giving the owner ample time to take the dog somewhere where it was more convenient, and where it could more easily picked up. I don't own a guide dog myself, but I have heard that that is how it goes.

Among many things, yes. Sometimes good people suffer. My family, a very devout Christian family, has an extensive history of vision illnesses. My great-grandmother (R.I.P) went blind due to retinal degeneration. My father also has retinal degeneration and, fortunately, caught it early and had surgery to correct it.
