Re: Apostolic Church CULT!!
This, in my opinion, is the MOST important vs in the bible...
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Because, if you know and live this vs, you will know your bible and no man can tell you different.
The big problem in "religion" is most people just hold their bibles close...tucked in next to their heart but never really open it to read for themselves. Most people fall on the understanding of others and their "religion" to dictate what their own personal beliefs are. Soo sad.
Who do you think Jesus was talking about here???... Matthew 7:22-23 KJV
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?* And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
People... Read your bibles... Study them... Know them... Then live by them.
Don't think that just because Jesus died for your sins, John 3:16 KJV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
What does Jesus say??? Matthew 10:34 KJV
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
So who will enter into heaven??? Matthew 7:21 KJV
......... he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Yes, Jesus died for our sins... But that alone isn't your ticket to heaven. You must be born again, raised up a new creation... To become Christ like. Putting away your old lives and becoming a new creation in Christ.
As I've read through these forums today I've been disgusted with the lack of godliness... Especially from so called pastors.
what are the first two commandments?... Matthew 22:37, 39-40 KJV
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.* And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.* On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
I've seen the opposite of that scripture on this forum.
