How do "you" know god said it? Maybe the devil wrote the bible to trick you. Maybe god wrote those vile words as a test to see if you would follow through with the vile commands.

It sounds plausible. God frequently gives people utterly insane commands as a test to see if they'll obey Him. He gets very offended if they don't. Did you know that rebellion is equal to the sin of witchcraft?

You need to take time to read some more threads here before you open your big mouth! The subject of dinosaur bones and racism have been covered quite well on this site. We are not racist!

Anyway, I think it's safe to say that regardless of the "judging" controversy..if you'll humor me in calling it a controversy... Jesus summed up all of the laws and said to

1) Love your neighbors as yourself
2) Love the Lord with all your...

Did He say that we should ignore all the other laws? Or did He say that ALL of His Laws were still in effect? (Hint: Pick Option 2.)

The Bible says that only those who love and obey Jesus and every one of His Laws, and who are washed free of sin and then remain sin-free, get to go to Heaven. How many denominations do that, with their Polyester Blend Pot Lucks, and their Sodomite Socials, and their Divorcee Dinners?

So I don't know about you guys, but I don't show love by throwing around derogatory and racist remarks (I'm Chinese-American, and I was quite disappointed to see the term "chinks" used by your minister in reference to my people group). We're all God's creation, and all required God's grace and love to be saved. So why aren't we more aware of that? Shouldn't we show the same grace that God shows in forgiving?

I'm sure not likely to have any chinks for neighbors.

Maybe I missed something in my years of being a member of a Baptist church and enrolled in a Baptist school... but I noticed that everything had a more "get yourself right with God, then come to church" than a "Find that God is what you are missing in your life, and leave your old ways behind as you grow in Christ"... Where in the Bible does it say anything about "True Christians"? or "Baptists" being the only denomination going to heaven?

The Bible says that we have to be washed clean of sin through Christ's blood. True Christians are the only ones who fit the bill.
