I guess if you want to take it in that context you can. But I looked up the verse you mentioned and looked at the part where you put "..."

As a Pastor I'm sure that you know the importance of taking the whole chapter and not just the one verse with dots in the middle.

And in verse 6 of that chapter it's talking about the people who don't seek God. So if someone dresses differently it doesn't really matter as long as they aren't making a mockery of God and are seeking to find him.

Aren't you realizing that goths aren't seeking God? This is because the Bible is very clear about the way women should dress:

1 Timothy 2:9:
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array

If those goths were seeking God, why don't they dress like He wants them to? Clearly, they don't seek God, which is why they fall under God's Wrath:

Zephaniah 1:5-8:
And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham; And them that are turned back from the LORD; and those that have not sought the LORD, nor enquired for him.
Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.
And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD's sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.

So you see, it is very clear that God is unhappy with the goths. How can you possibly deny this?

John 7:24 "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment."

And by bolding the verse he's only taking out a part. But the part that isn't bold goes against the verse you just fed me.

First of all, there are no contradictions in the Bible, so one verse can't possibly go against another.

Let's look at what this verse actually says. We should judge righteous judgment. What does "righteous" mean? Again, the answer is in the Bible:

Deuteronomy 4:8:
And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

The Bible teaches that there is nothing more righteous than the Law. That's why we should keep the Law:

Matthew 5:18-19:
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

So, according to the Bible, there is nothing more righteous than the Law, so righteous people are people who follow the Law. So, judging righteous judgment means judging people based on whether or not they keep God's commandments. And as goths do not keep God's Commandment in 1 Timothy 2:9, a righteous judgment therefore condemns them.

Note that we aren't judging to the appearance: we aren't condemning goths because the way they dress, we condemn goths because they do not keep God's commandments, which requires them to dress modestly. That's what the difference is here.

Anyway, you seem to be a little confused, in your first post you even asserted that we shouldn't Love too much:

I hope you realize that this assertion is in direct contradiction with the Bible:

1 John 5:1-2...18:
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
...

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

If we love God, we're begotten of Him, and if we're begotten of Him, the devil cannot touch us. Why are you trying to convince us to stop loving God? Why are you so hateful that you even don't allow us to love Our Sweet Lord?

And by the way, you shouldn't hold us responsible for people denouncing Christ on these forums, we are True Christians™, and everything we say comes straight from the Bible. If they object to our message, they object to the Bible, and they should take it up with God. The same goes for you, if you disagree with anything I've said, you disagree with the Bible. Read it yourself if you don't believe it.

The entire Holy Word of God can be a lot to take in for the Christian that picks and chooses verses.

I have even read that everyone that is to be received by the Lord is to be scourged. I have been taught to preach the Word in and out of season reproving, rebuking, exhorting with all long suffering and doctrine.

I don't want to say that you in particular are in the wrong. But there is something wrong with the entire forum. I've gone through just a few pages of it and have read and found about three people who claim that this forum is a stumbling block for them. And although that is between them and God, it's wrong to add fuel to Hell's fire.

I find it hard to believe that the Lord that I love, who holds me and loves me when everyone else hates me would vote that a young woman with different ideas deserves to be raped. Go through this whole forum and count how many times the word Whore is in here. Mary Magdelene (sp?) was a whore.. Flip over to the time that she washed Jesus feet with her tears. Who was there asking "Why are you letting her do that? She's nasty." (my own words) and read Jesus response.

I haven't joined a forum just to write one reply. This forum.. absolutely breaks my heart. I've cried before because I'm ready for God to come back and get his people.. but I have never, ever been this disturbed by something in a long long time. Normally whatever I read on the internet I take worth a grain of salt. There's a lot of people out there. There are a lot of opinions. But this.. hurt. To the point that I shake while I write this.

The entire Holy Word of God can be a lot to take in for the Christian that picks and chooses verses.

I had the joy of being raised in church, from the time I was born to present day. But not everyone has that. It's a fact. Not everyone has that luxury.

I have too. Dr. Flint Sr. spanked my bottom and prayed over me when I was born.

So I have one simple question.. How can you ever show anyone who wasn't as priveledged as we were to find God early, to God if you don't prove to them that you have an amazing grace in your life? One of the main things that brings a lost person to God is the act of watching a "true christian" and realizing that the person has something in their life that he or she does not. Whether it's peace, or satisfaction or just pure bliss.
