There has been a misunderstanding. I take the Bible litterally, and I dress modestly, what you guys normally connect to the term "goth" is not what I am. I appriciate victorian architecture, called gothic. And I am a big fan of the litterature connected to the period. I don't kill babies, I don't worship satan. I am about to get married, and I live by the word of God.

If you take the Bible literally, then why do you consider some chapters to be "good" and some to be "bad"? You're supposed to follow ALL of it. Oh yeah, and you shouldn't be a fan of ANY literature other than the 1611 King James Version Authorized Holy Bible. Everything else is the work of Satan.

I don't need no religion stealing parts of other believes and no I'm not gonna explain, but you're free to look up nordic,antique and oriental religions.

I don't even believe God killed the entire population with the Flood, because he hated us. He did it to start over, to give Earth another chance, out of love for His creation.

That's not what the Bible says...

Genesis 6:5-13
5And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
9These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
10And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
11The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

We can see here that God regretted created mankind (and beasts). It wasn't about making second chances. God saw how evil and violent people were, regretted creating them, and decided to destroy them. Noah was spared because he was the only good man left on this earth.

And I do agree with you on the matter that taking the Bible litterally is vital for salvation, it was merely the way of discussing the Holy Word that disturbed me.

So if you take the Bible literally, why are you a goth?

I'm glad you ask, I read in my Bible every day, 20 pages with my husband after dinner. From the beginning to the end. And then I read before I go to bed, but those are more selected passages, for example I love to read the psalms before I go to sleep, they seem like the best inspiration to prayer

Ezikiel; I wish you had the wisdom of your brother here, as he clearly understands how to lead a fruitful dialouge. You have a lot to learn from him, he is intelligent, respectful and humble.
