I have told you before, Pastor I do not udnerstand your need to be graphical about anything. I am not trying to pick a fight with you, and nomatter what it is you think I should be doing you must know by now that your oppinion on that matter is highly irrelevant for me, though I am sorry to say.
I know I can't agree with everyone, that is utopic and impossible, but at least one of you True Christian rated members saw my point, and agreed.
That is enough for me. We can disagree and still talk politely to eachother can't we? We don't have to shout at eachother or leave spiteful remarks do we? We can peacefully co-exist respectfully disagreeing on certain matters can't we? Or are you so consumed of being right that you must continue this discussion? Why not just lay down the axe, and agree to disagree?

God does not hate us, he loves us. He will show us the way to paradise, for He is kind and merciful, there is no question about that, no argument.
The real question is; do we dare to walk it? The path of rightiousness is so slim and difficult and not always comfortable. We will get disappointed and discouraged, but we cannot abandone Him. He would never abandone us.
He cares about us immensely, and he does know every action you'll ever make. He knows every inch of you since before you were born, and his love streches to every inch. We are embraced by his love every day, whether you are a white christian, a black christian, asian or native americain. If you are babtised and dare walk his path to heaven, by acting right as he would want us to, you will be saved. Your actions will save you. Your chioces will save you. Or condem you. Not your colour, not your clothes. Your steps on Gods Path, and your steps outside it, those are vital.

You are an addle-brained girl who should stick with baking pies and scrubbing kitchen floors.

i have NEVER seen any one walk up to a pram and kick it over, or punch a baby in the face for 20 minutes! i have gothic friends who have been awsome baby sitters, and loved by the children and family. the are nice people!
I know people who fit your description of gothic, who have children and are great mothers! Their children are smart! and will grow up to be much better people with better chances in life than some poor disillusioned child who grew up in a christian family, told to talk to himself everyday, and thank the air for what hes recieved on his dinner plate.
And the abuse? Abuse is something that is present in every culture! You cannot expect anyone to believe that a christian man or woman has never hurt a child.

You raise some good points. Often, people ask "but why does God tortutre people so, does He hate them?" -- a simpleton might say God hates us. That is not so, God LOVES us. We just can't expect life to be easy peasy all the time.

Praising a God of Hate is not going to do anyone any good. That is what I believe, and yes Jacob I have read the entire book, in two languages. I have also read the Koran, the Hadiths, the hindi Veda's, the buddhist Siddharta Gautama texts and many more, as I am studying religion at the university.
Of all these religious texts the one I believe in is the Bible, others might have good ideas, but that doesn't make them right.
I don't even believe God killed the entire population with the Flood, because he hated us. He did it to start over, to give Earth another chance, out of love for His creation. He didn't punish Aaron for worshipping the golden bull out of spite or hate, he let his people wander around in the desert for fourty years out of care. If he hadn't cared about us, he would never have given us so many chances to be all that we can be, and mankind can be so good.
He has given us that potential, and he keeps on trying to help us to live up to that potential every single day. God is not an evil kid with a magnifying glass and an antfarm, it makes me so sad that people make him seem that way.

I can't see why anyone would be angry about my posts since I think I made it clear I don't want to fight. It seems as though everyone wants to though.

I believe in the bible, clearly you must be confusing the Word with another book, one that writes of hate and negativity. Swearing, cursing, anger and offence is not going to enlighten anyone. If God hates the sin and the sinner, then God must hate all, for as our saviour said; Let him without sin cast the first stone.
A God build of hate is not a God to worship. And he is not my God.

If God hated us so much, then why would he send his son to die for us, to give his life for our salvation? You're so fond of quoting so here you go:

God will punish the ones worth of his punishment soon enough, it is his place to judge and his place only. And I believe he does so just fine trying to better than Him would be quite arrogant of a simple mortal. To quote Bathfire "humility is a virtue."

Before you complain about the the fact that the verses I cited were from the Old Testament, as if that somehow makes them worthless, consider this:

In the Old Testament, it says that God hates "all workers of iniquity" (Ps 5:5).

In the New Testament, what does Jesus say that he is going to do to these workers of iniquity? Is he going to love them? Is he going to be their pal, and tell them that it's ok to be themselves? Let's see...

Clearly you haven't read the Bible, or only read the Gospels. You need to read the whole thing (1611KJV only!) or you will go to Hell. Don't skip over Leviticus or Deuteronomy. Great stuff!

I am so sorry that this is the response a friendly enlightning blog gets in this forum. I had expected more... well more... from grown up, hopefully sane people.
As I have before written about where I come from, and my beliefs in the Goths are NOT bad- thread, I will continue my weeping for all of you selfrightious misguided wannabe christians out there.
Goth is a style, it is a way of wearing your hair, certain clothes, listening to certain music (And by the way, there are some really awesome christian goth-bands too) it is not a way of acting.
I am so sorry to disappoint you, but I have never wanted to murder anyone at my school, I have never wanted to kill a child. When my baby-sister was born I was happy for the first time in my life, she is the most perfect, beautiful human being I have ever seen and I love her more than anything else in the world. My uncle, who is a preacher in a Danish church, lost a child to a doctor's error, just before it was born and we were all devastated of the loss. And I am still Goth.

The only one I have ever wanted to kill in my darkest hours is myself, out of despair and hurt. I have never succeeded though, I like to think God meant I hadn't fulfilled my task. Yes, God may have saved the life of a Gothic, five times to be exact. I find it quite ironical that according to the bible, litterally speaking, I am a more devout christian than any of you haters out there. Yes, I call you haters because that is what you spread; hate and racism, intolerance, alienation and hypocracy. What you give is what you get, and it seems like you have a lot coming for you.
I don't hate you for hating me, because I am a Goth.
You can't say anything garphical enough to make me shout at you or spite you, I feel sorry for you, because you are excluding so many people that could have enriched your life, without one single glance at who they really are.
