I think it should be obvious that I know EVERYTHING about Europe! I studied European history in college and I can tell you everything you want to know and many things you are obviously in denial about. I can tell you when the French lost their nerve and became surrender monkeys, beginning with Thermopylae, Metaurus, Chalons, Tolouse, Tours and, finally, Agincourt with a post-script at Verneuil.

Well, it's clear to everyone that you do know a LOT about the King James Bible. But it's also clear that you know NOTHING about Europe... Then the silly Frenchies turned to a woman for leadership, but that ended at Compiègne. Since all the French pooter knights were trampled in the mud at Agincourt, France has been a country of cheese-packers and drunk, smelly cross-dressers.

If you are in here trying to defend the imaginary country of Belgium, I am afraid that I am too well educated for you to even attempt it! The first and last time anyone from around there did anything important was in June, 1401 when a few dozen Welch peasants with sharp sticks routed a combined army of English and Flemish soldiers at Mynydd Hyddgen.

Since then, whenever Europe needed to fill a human pothole, they sent the filler to what is now laughingly referred to as Belgium, but which, as we all know, exists like the tent cities outside Mexico City. They have names, but they aren't really there.

Don't start with me! The country is a polyglot of rocks and bogs, populated by the dregs of Europe who were expatriats from somewhere after WWII, ebbing and flowing like a huge human tidal wave of detritus across the landscape, eating crickets and frogs, pillaging haystacks, living in caves! Finally they were herded into the ditch that is temporarily called Belgium (which is celtic for tumbledown rocks) until they could be identified. Sadly, most of their relatives declined to claim them and now they have lost any sense of self or country. They variously self-identify as French/Dutch/German/Swiss/British/Roma/Icelandic or the occasional Irish. They have no language and speak whatever the people in the next country speak. Thus they are all seriously conflicted....much as Canadians are....no sense of purpose....no real religion....no heraldic artwork to paint on the door.

What a horrible thought to know that every morning Russian tanks could be invading Germany across your yard or German tanks could be invading Poland or the Japanese could be harpooning whales and France has surrendered and you don't know what color to wear or even what language to speak to the conqueror!

I believe Marriott even has hotels there, I can book you a reservation at the discounted Friends and Family Rate if you'd like, then you'd see it's a real country.
