Elohim and Jahweh are two renditions of the name given to God by different factions of the Jewish people. What does it matter if one writer doesn't mention something the other does - as long as it's in the Bible somewhere.

There might be two versions of the creation account but there can only be one creation. The fact that there are two accounts just goes to provide even more proof that there was a creation, not some made up evilution fairy tale.
