No, I think it is cleverer than that, you see the descending darkness, whilst we True Christians(tm) have passed through darkness and been re-born into a new, fresh light - but I agree, the metaphor is good.

Setting of the sun = end of the day
    X
Birth of a new day = the sun rising

Are even these words too confusing?

It is the sign of a narrow mind such as yours who has not seen both horizons. Apparently, you've only seen the setting of the sun on the horizon, and not the birth of a new day.

Alright. Ever done drugs? Hallucinogens in particular?

It's called expanding your horizons. Don't make fun of something you don't know about. Are you too busy repenting to Jesus that you can't broaden your horizons?

Well, for that I need to assume your 'frame of reference'. Guessing you didn;t reference the Quran? As far as I have dug in my early age, I don't see eternal damnation being the one and only punishment. More like a waiting room of torture, then they let you go.

I remember when I was young and thought I knew everything. Oh, I did think I was clever! I daresay I knew more than this wet-behind-the-ears tyke.
I'm a minor. I'm pretty sure a shorter life means less experience.

But that was before I found Jesus and realized I was a worthless bag of sin in my youth, all pride and no real substance. But again, I was a nicer bag of sin than this mouthy jew brat.
No shit, sherlock. I;m not a perfect individual, and I'm proud of it.

Called sleeping. Anyways, I never really understood that concept. Care to explain the Holy ghost?

Hah. Depends how much it's worth. Anything over a 100 dollar bill, hell, yes.

It appears to me that this church is blind. You don't question, you only follow.

If you can't question something, is it valid? there is no such thing as a flawless argument.
