I figure if your religion can hate on people, I can do it too.

It's 'silly' because you are extremists, who take everything literally. Everything that ISN'T in the Bible is a Sin, according to you.

        Seems 'silly' to me.

God created everything in this world, so He has the right to hate it or love it as He pleases.

How is the act of baptism "extreme"? Baptism IS in fact in the Holy Bible. Have you never heard of John THE BAPTIST?

And in any event, the question was on superstitions, not True Christianity™. You know, like black cats?

Superstition: an irrational belief arising from ignorance or fear

That sounds to me like every false religion out there! If it's not True Christianity, then it must be superstition. I don't know what sort of food they feed you in Bellevue, but I suggest you refrain from it for awhile!

I thought that would be obvious. Landover Baptist Church is the one true religion, blessed by Jesus Himself. Everything else in false Christianity, or else just plain cultish, like your buddies the mary-worshiping catlickers.

There is no superstition with a True Christian™

Yet again, you spew your ridiculous hatred and lies about the Bible.

Here, you've lied and said that if something's not in the Bible, we say it's a sin.

                  Wrong.

We say that the Bible tells us clearly what is a sin. All we have to do is read the book, where God has told us everything we shall not do.

However, you've yet again derailed a thread with your off-topic nonsense and idiotic one-line hate speech posts.

Getting back to the topic of the thread, what is the silliest superstition?

                      Lying =/= not knowing.

And that wasn't spewing any more hatred than you people have been. Does it hurt when someone makes fun of you? It should; since you make fun of/mock/call names/other things to other people.

Let's see, so that's one for "Voodoo/Wicca" then? Great! I was afraid nobody would vote for it, since the Catholics seem to be winning.

You have to admit, Rachael, the Catholics DO have a lot of bizarre superstitions!

The praying to statues thing, but then also that whole cannibalism deal . . . weird!

And somehow I forgot Mormon Magic Underwear on the list. Oops.
