What absolutely astonishing alliteration displayed by our dearest and most darling, our witty, if somewhat whimsical, Sister in His Saving Spirit, Mary Maria! (Good Heavens, but that was fun!)

Give me some credit, Zeke. I'm not five, and my IQ does happen to be in the 150's, so yes, I know what superstition means. And it is you who has it wrong. Superstitions are 'the little things', religions are NOT superstitions. Yes, religions can be SUPERSTITIOUS, and have SUPERSTITIOUS BELIEFS, but they are not in themselves superstitions.

      Yammer yammer, whine whine.

Like I said, the correct term, if you wanted to mention superstition or if you thought they were such, would be 'superstitious beliefs'.
Magical Mormon Underwear added, and "superstition" changed to "superstitious belief" to stop the incessant complaining of Rachael Van SnuggleswithSpiders.

Naturally, she realizes that her own belief (eating baby pies or roast babies is a good way to gain power by consuming their immortal souls) is also being called a superstition by this poll!
