Perhaps you've heard of a movie called Watchmen. You might have dismissed it as unholy trash like the rest of superhero movies. You know, the kind that dress up in demons and erotic tight clothing, concealing their identity, and praising symbols. Just toss it in the trash like the rest of them. Watchmen, however, takes it a step farther.
Upon hearing that the movie featured a naked blue freak posing as God, I decided to do a bit of investigating. This may shock and disturb you.
This character sees past, present, and future simultaneously, and throughout the movie characters refer to him as a god. This isn't even the most sickening part. He also has sex with an underage girl, and clones himself. As if walking around naked, killing at will was not shocking enough.
The overtones of this movie are about what God allows to happen in the world. This entire idea is a perversion of Christianity. Watchmen apparently finds it OK to create false deities and question God's creation of humanity and His will.
So again, as it did with the Davinci Code, Hollywood has decided that it is OK to essentially portray God as a flawed. This character is a SCIENTIST! He is unholy. He is also queer and flamboyant, and decides that it is OK to allow Russia to attack American soil with nukes. Will these movies stoop no lower? BOYCOTT THIS MOVIE AT ALL COSTS, BROTHERS AND SISTERS.
Naturally, I spent the next few hours praying for forgiveness for viewing such vile material. Often, I find I must screen movies for my younger brother so he is not introduced to any unholy smut.
