Here you just plain contradict yourself. First you say Jaycee is blameless because it was 'impossible" for her to escape due to some "programming", but then you encourage other people to to try this impossible thing. Sorry, but you can't have it both ways. Are women so weak and fragile that they are that easily mastered and broken by a simple fence (and thus not responsible for their own "captivity"), or are they these super-intelligent beings that can overcome any obstacle, shatter any window, gouge (not gauge btw) eyes and never stop fighting?

BAD: Yes - Jaycee was kidnapped. THAT was wrong.
GOOD: I have heard nothing about ill health or addiciton on Jaycee's behalf so obviously she was cared for.
GOOD: Mrs. Garrido obeyed her husband even if she thought the situation may have been questionable. That's a true Chhristian woman right there!
BAD: No compensation has been offered or given to the girl's father.
GOOD: Jaycee must've felt safe because she did not try to escape. Say what you may but even at the tender age of 11, I had enough smarts to be able make the most of any situation. She was in a tent and/or a shed in the yard that was also fenced AND had trees as an extra visual barrier. She could have very well over time loosened boards of the shed or scraped away a small opening then fabricated a make shift ladder to get over the fence if it was additionally protected. Jaycee must've felt some sense of love and/or security to make NO ATTEMPT - even when they were in public together.

Perhaps Mrs. Garrido couldn't bear children and this was simply his way of creating Christian soldiers.

As for "Runaways" We are speaking of children (and specifically in this thread about Jaycee) who have been been abducted and forced to live as a sex slave for ~20years. These "Runaways" are never abandoned by anyone, even Jaycee's own parents welcome her back for her horrible ordeal with this religious psycho.

The children (all of them) that make it out are protected and cared for and given as much caring and loving attention (without being forced to do anything ever again) Whilst the predator and madman (the religious freak) is thrown in jail for the rest of his damned life. And if other Adults are involved they are also locked up forever.

When a child leaves this bad (and disgusting) environment they are given the world to mend and enjoy life, safely in harmony with all others except these pathetic adults that will burn in hell (if you believed in hell)
They also help other children by leaving as well and give them strength and courage to do the same thing.

All in all a child that wishes and does leave these barbaric religious sects will live a life of freedom and happiness.
The "Runaways" that you speak of are other children that have also lost their way, you (we all) should try to help these children as well.
