Re: Phillip Craig Garrido: Voices of Angels in Mind of Rapist
Kim, I had high hopes for you that you were starting to think logically. But it looks like you've tossed it all away in an emotional fit of womanly temper. Lets look at some obvious errors that a man would have not have committed while posting in a calm and rational state:
Please state the percentage of women currently playing the NFL, NBA, MBL, or NHL.
Define "normal". Let me give you a starting point:
Universality of patriarchy
The universality of patriarchy is a standard finding of cultural anthropology. Cultural anthropology is an empirical (observational) science, based on field work, that produces "pictures" of individual human societies called ethnographies. It is also a theoretical science, called ethnology, comparing and contrasting societies in order to classify and explain the empirical data. Societies have marked differences in the way they exploit resources for survival, the artifacts they produce and in various rituals and other traditions. They also have similarities like marriage, family and the incest taboo. Aspects of human behavior and social organization that are common to all known societies are called cultural universals. Patriarchy is one of these universals.
Here you just plain contradict yourself. First you say Jaycee is blameless because it was 'impossible" for her to escape due to some "programming", but then you encourage other people to to try this impossible thing. Sorry, but you can't have it both ways. Are women so weak and fragile that they are that easily mastered and broken by a simple fence (and thus not responsible for their own "captivity"), or are they these super-intelligent beings that can overcome any obstacle, shatter any window, gouge (not gauge btw) eyes and never stop fighting?
Look sweetcheeks, I think you are just embarrassed by any woman who lovingly and willfully submits to her man as God and nature intended. And that makes you the unnatural one here. I suggest that you look in the mirror and deal with your own issues before challenging society at large. And your rants encouraging violence are really becoming a little disturbing.
