I don't drink, smoke or do drugs. Don't ever plan to do the latter two.

Brother Temperance certainly is not using 'vampire' as a metaphor. He makes the point clearly that it is not the metaphoric sucking of the life blood out of a countries economy that he is talking about!Originally posted by roserougesang View PostI'm guessing you're using 'vampire' as a metaphor now.
Rose, I have to ask you this. Have you been drinking Rose? You don't seem to be functioning right now at even your usual level of "intelligence" (I am using the term loosely). Are we in communication with someone who is inebriated Rose? Are you under the influence of liquor? Or some other substance? Narcotics? Marijuana?
Rose, I am asking you, if you are in a bibulous state, to leave these Holy boards immediately and not return until you are sober.
Thank you.

Re: Vampires: Satanic, Insane Murderers
What about the real-life vampires, the JEWS? I'm not referring here to their practice of sucking the lifeblood out of a country's economy, although that happens too, I'm talking about metzizah b'peh. Aka "Jewish vampire paedophile blowjobs". What do you make of that, eh?Originally posted by roserougesang View PostFictional vampires might be parasites, but many are pretty parasites so I don't mind so much.

Rose, just to spare you a lot of time, my guess is that 90% of the people here really don't give a hoot about vampires or vampire fiction or movies or the actors who play them.Originally posted by roserougesang View PostFictional vampires might be parasites, but many are pretty parasites so I don't mind so much.
Some may find the whole genre and topic mind numbingly unexciting.
You want real scary?
Try the republican party. Or for that matter, xtians, like the fine examples here. They'll give any sane person the heebie-jeebies guaranteed.

Yes, some parasites are quite dignified.Originally posted by roserougesang View PostDepends on what vampires you're referring to. Just like humans, I would assume most vampires would be different. Some might be very violent bloodsuckers, other may prefer to retain a sense of dignity despite what they are.
I'm speaking, of course, of tape worms.

It's an interesting thought: if vampires were real, would the relationship between vampires and humans resemble that between negroes and taxpayers?Originally posted by OnYourKnees View PostRemember, vampires are supposed to be living dead creatures who are parasites on humans. Re: Vampires: Satanic, Insane Murderers
Then what has that to do with vampirism?Originally posted by roserougesang View PostYou keep forgetting that I'm referring to lifestylers now. Most vampire lifestylers prefer to dress from the period of time they thought most elegant aesthetically, the 1700s and the 1800s being the most common choices.
Why can't they just be "Victorian/Edwardian goths" instead of "vampire lifestylers", which would also imply avoiding daylight and mirrors, and sleeping in coffins and murdering people for their blood?
So, you think the essence of vampirism, drinking blood, is gross? But you just said:Originally posted by kikirnw View PostUmm......Yeah, thats just not right and kind of gross.[blood drinking]
Which is it? Is it "not right" and "gross", or is it "sexy, stylish, and powerful"?Originally posted by kikirnw View PostI agree, vamps are sexy. If you look at almost every movie or book that has a vamp in it they are sexy, stylish, and powerful.
Rose, thank you for posting your Nosferatu picture. I'd suggest any "vampire fan" watch that movie to see what is likely a more realistic portrayal of what a vampire would look like, if they were real.
Remember, vampires are supposed to be living dead creatures who are parasites on humans. Parasites are never strong, stylish, or sexy. They rely on host organisms to survive.

I personally prefer Armand if we're discussing Anne Rice vampires. Lestat's a bit too arrogant for my liking (pretty though).

Honestly, their both kind of cute, but I'd have to go with Lestat.Originally posted by roserougesang View PostMost vampires in European folklore are actually quite ugly, authors like Anne Rice and Chelsea Quinn Yarbro made them more appealing. Honestly, who's more aesthetically appealing, Lestat or Dracula?
Though I personally prefer the smexy ones.
