The statue you have (in your photo) is Hotei or Budai, a "prosperity god" based on a fat Chinese monk, referred to in common parlance and in marketing as the "laughing buddha" but not a representation of Gautama Buddha. Perhaps you should read the teachings noted on WickedPedophilia to find out something about what you profess to believe. Gluttony is not acceptable in Buddhism.

Were you to follow your buddy Buddha's teachings at all, you would not rub objects for "good luck". Your good pal Buddha taught that such things were superstitious nonsense . . . one of the things he and Jesus agreed upon.

You're as bad a Buddhist as the average Ned who comes in here spouting about how God loves everybody and Jesus said that everyone goes to Heaven. Have you ever read any Buddhist literature? Or the Bible? Or do you just believe whatever you pick up in astrology columns?

I see. I thought, since you can rarely put together coherent sentences, that you were simply ignorant. For example, "haveing" is not even a word.

Instead, you admit to lying to us and misrepresenting Buddhism -- which you claim to follow -- and making it look even more ridiculous than it is, in order to "have fun".

I think you're also making up your Tree friend, to "have fun".

Why are you here? To make fun of us for being Saved? Because you hate Jesus?

Will you be "having fun" when you find yourself enjoying eternal hellfire?

Look, buddy, I know what I know, and I don't clam to know any more then that. I don't know everything there is of the Buddha, and Buddhism, but I do know the basic stuff, and the background of Buddha. If you really want to put on the boxing gloves, then put them on. And with the whole path thing. I choose not to really stick to one, but to walk them all a little, and see where that leads me. And with Luna. She is the most sweetest, big hearted, liveing being that ever came into my life, and I'm so blessed to have her in my life. I think God almighty, that He put her in my life. If it wasn't for her, then I would have killed myself a long time ago, and I truely do thank God I have her.

Trees don't have hearts. You really need to study biology more. If you'd like, we'd be only willing to chop her down, so you can see for yourself.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

You either know nothing about Buddhism -- less than is even available on Wikipedia -- or you mock it in some bizarre attempt to make us look foolish.

              Which is it?

Are you a liar, or an ignoramus who can't tell Hotei from Gautama Buddha?

              Tell the truth for once!

Oh, and your little challenge? Go for it. We're not the bunch of dull-witted rednecks you assume we are. Between us we know more about Satan's many world religions than most of their adherents. Obviously, including you.

I meant that she is the most loving when I said that she had I big heart. It's surely bigger then your's.

I hope you find true love one day, and I pray that you do. Even if you find it in the next life. And I did say that I didn't know everything about Buddha, but I am reading up on him, and learning. I may not be the best follower but I try.

You have not answered the question.

Are you an ignoramus or a liar?

Your attempt to distract from the question with your "love" and "next life" nonsense suggests the latter.

You have obviously not read very far, have you?

I think you need an infraction for being wilfully vexatious. And I'm going to give it to you. You've already been warned.

After that, I'm thinking you need to start answering questions and following through instead of trying to distract from your lies and ignorance, or risk being placed on moderation or banned.

I hope you understand that I'm not kidding, or playing games.
