O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

It is written that he once said that if you see the Buddha along the road, kill him.
lol, where is that written? I see you'd like to take target practice at little Buddha figurines by tropical plants in my town's nursery

Because he's teaching can end suffering in your mind.

          Friend,

Do you really think you can stop God from putting it back in?

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

Re: Want to learn about Buddha?

Ok. Here are the basic things of the Buddha:

                  The Noble Truths:

                  1. All is suffering

                  2. The origin of suffering

                  3. The Cessation of suffering

                  4. The path to the cessation suffering

The 1st truth is basicly this; everybody suffers. You, me, everybody. The 2nd one is that to find out what is couseing our suffering. The 3rd is to find out how to get rid of it. And the 4th is finally not haveing to suffer from that thing again by doing on a path to get rid of it.

It is part of a Zen Buddhist koan. I can not give you the answer because that is not the point of a koan. More to the point is that you should be paying attention to the Bible (KJV1611).

Buddha figurines are nemesis possessions and should be smashed and buried in your back yard to improve drainage.

And yet you admit in another thread that you are quite willing to eat Christian babies. do you imagine that behavior will bring you "good luck"?

The truth is, there is no such thing as luck, good or bad. Everything that happens is because God wants it thus. Yes, even the bad things.

So when really bad things happen (like you get eaten by wild beasts, get killed in war, get sick and die, etc.), then you'll know that it was God that did it to you.

Ezekiel 14:13 Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:

14:15 If I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts:

14:17 Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it:

14:19 Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast:

14:21 For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?

                          Glory!!

Gadzooks, but this one's exceptionally imbecilic. I just hope we can keep him away from Father Lester - the Good Lord only knows what that awful Papist pederast would be able to trick the poor simpleton into rubbing for good luck.
