  • NEW RELIGION HAS FOLLOWERS EAT THEIR GOD IN A RITUAL!!!!!!!

It's called Christianity. I would like to address everyone here and say that you guys need to understand not everyone is Christian. People have their own beliefs and what you're doing. Specifically telling saying things like how every religion except Baptism is sick and twisted and how everyone should believe in Christianity. The Founding Fathers did not base the United States on Christianity. They based it on freedom. The first freedom they guaranteed? The freedom of religion. I myself am a lifelong Christian, but what you are doing is not convincing people anything except that all Christians are a bunch of religious extremists that do nothing more than turn people against everything they don't agree with. So please could you be a little more accepting?

    Dear Godmocking Heathen;

Kindly post the Scripture (KJV only!) that tells us how Jesus wants us to "tolerate" other religions.

I don't know what false Christian "church" you attend, but I can promise you that Jesus is not amused by your hatemongering.
    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

      No.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Thank you. I always wondered what it was called.

I would like to address everyone here and say
Or, you could just save us the theatrics and say it without telling us that you'd like to say it by addressing us.

you guys need to understand not everyone is Christian
Really? There are people who don't believe in Jesus? OMG, why didn't anybody ever tell me this before?????

        People have their own beliefs
OMG, why didn't someone ever tell me that, too????

and what you're doing. Specifically telling saying things like how every religion except Baptism is sick and twisted and how everyone should believe in Christianity.
Jesus said He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad in Matthew 12:30.

The Founding Fathers did not base the United States on Christianity.
        Well, nobody is perfect.

OK, that was a joke. This is serious:

Are you saying they weren't the founding fathers?

        They based it on freedom.
Please explain how the Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798 promoted freedom.

The first freedom they guaranteed? The freedom of religion.
When have we ever said that people aren't free to go to Hell if that is their choice?

Excellent. As a Christian, how do you put 1 Timothy 5:1 into practice in your daily life?

Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

what you are doing is not convincing people anything except that all Christians are a bunch of religious extremists that do nothing more than turn people against everything they don't agree with.
Everything we say is supported by the Bible.

So please could you be a little more accepting?
Do you want us to lie about the Bible? Should we pretend, for example, that Romans 1:26-32 doesn't say that homosexuals are worthy of death? Should we hide the fact that Ephesians 5:23 tells us that "the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church?" Are we to pretend that we don't know that Christ told his disciples that he taught using parables to keep people from being saved?

Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. Mark 4:11-12

Maybe you're a lie about the Bible kind of Christian, but at Landover Baptist, we're don't bear false witness Christians.
