    I believe that, much like myself, OYK would love it far more if you faced up to his challenge. Show us the commandments, and list how GWB has broken them, or get back to North Korea so your Islamist comrades can shoot you for being the homo dog you are.

    Dose = A quantity measured out ie in medication e.g. 'She was given a dose of medicine for her headache'.
    I believe that the misspelling in her post may not have been "dose" but "meditate". If her family do believe in medicating her up, it'd explain a lot.
    O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

    God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

      Why not list the Ten Commandments for us, and tell US what you think?

      We at Landover Baptist Church do not limit ourselves to the Ten Commandments; there are scores more in the Bible, and we follow every one. Do you?

      Do you follow deuteronomy?

      example:

      If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,

      13Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;
      14Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;
      15Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.
      16And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again.
      17And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers; 18When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God.

        We are also commanded by God to follow secular laws; therefore, we do not go out and stone homersexurals and witches in place where it is illegal.

        I have yet to see any city founded of people who claimed to be Christian, then renounced their faith and chose another religion. Should such a thing happen within Freehold, where God's law is not questioned, then we would follow His instructions as you have noted.

            I do recall a fellow a few years back telling the newspapers that he'd left our church, and making all kinds of awful accusations against us. Of course, they would never print such nonsense, and he was found dead in his home shortly thereafter — beat himself to death with a crowbar. A sudden fit of shame must have seized him when he realized he was telling lies about God's Favorite Church, and I can't say I blame the guy.

              Our only motive is to follow every last bit of the Word of God, contained in the Holy KJV 1611 Bible.

              If you'd like to learn a bit about how God wants us to punish people, I suggest this quiz. It's only 10 multiple-choice questions, and you get the answers with Scripture at the end.

                Where is this spell-check thing. Are you sure that it's not a part of your browser. It's not on the forum. Not if you are using Opera, anyway.

                  Hmmm not right....you have to consider the times that Corinthians was written- It was written in a time when it was only the men that were literate and educated. If these women talked in church, it was a hinderance.But if they asked their husband at home, it wouldnt be a hinderance. Times have changed, and women are more educated nowadays.

                        No, thats not what I think, but i do think that the context has to be taken into consideration.

                        You assumed I thought that, in which case I didn't.

                        But are you saying that women are stupid? Are you saying that men are better?

                        At least Christ treated women with dignity at a time when women were treated very badly.

                        Oh yes, you trying to say that women are not educated? A long time ago, that never happend. Women were to stay at home with family commitments, housework ect ect, whereas nowadays, they have jobs, and have education.

                        They are no less than any man.

                            Why would a book written by God (who is perfect) have to be deciphered? It's perfect the way it is. If God wanted to change things He'd just write another one and present homers, dykes and feminazis in a more positive light don't you think?

                              it has to be deciphered because it can be misunderstood in some senses, yes the meanings are perfect and good, like God, but its all too easy to read it the wrong way.You have to understand it properly. If you do not know this by now, something is not right.

                              "homers, dykes and feminazis"- well I have a story about that-I had a friend who was attracted to other females. She used to be Christian, but she was torn between what she wanted, and what God wanted for her. She even tried to pursuede me to turn away from God, which failed. After a while, a lot of hassle, it ended up where I was praying for her to be saved, and that she wouldnt go back to having those type of relationships with other girls. She used to say that it didnt feel right with being straight .I didn't scream it to her face that she was "trash" as I assume now that you probably would have done, i didnt judge her, but God indeed did save her. She isnt trash now. I never once outcasted her for doing wrong.

                              Why do you outcast people? Why not pray for them instead of kicking them about? Or do you not know what praying is anymore, or doubt God's power?
