I was wondering exactly what is a Jehovah's witness? What do they believe? I know Jehova means God, did they witness God do something? This is very confusing.

The Joe Hovey's Wetnesses are Christian in name only. They reject the Holy Trinity, have rewritten the Bible to remove all mention of that holy doctrine, and believe that Jesus is the same as either the Archangel Michael or Abaddon. They also have been wrong repeatedly about the end of the world, and we know what the Bible says about prophets who get even one prophecy wrong:
Deut. 18:20-22: But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that [is] the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, [but] the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
Disclaimer: The Bible also says that we must follow secular law. This is why I prefer living on a gated property with my own kind. No pussyfied flatlanders coming by preaching about their ridiculous cult on my front veranda. Jehova's Witlesses are fair game if they have entered your property and you have whispered from behind the door to leave. At that point your life is in jeopardy and use of lethal force may be appropriate in some states.
