I can see that many people try and disprove this and that and have evidence of those and these. im going to have to say that the bible does have some agreeing truths in it,but i believe religion is harder to follow the more technology comes out and future is beheld.Such as the proof of genetics and all the mumbo jumbo.

I see a soul crying out for salvation right here. "Alright then" - Technologolical research only strengthens my trust in the Bible. Every day Scientists release press statements and make discoveries that disprove previously held theories. What is true for a scientist one day, inevitably ends up being wrong the next. Scientists are running around in circles trying to prove this theory or that theory, and end up conflicting each other with their wild assumptions, based upon 'strange energies' and invisible properties. All the while, the Bible says the same thing year in year out and has remained unchanged and true.
What more proof do you need of its accuracy?
If the temptation to turn your back on the bible occurs again, just remember -Scientists base their careers around things they cannot see, or touch, or will ever be able to prove. The difference between Scientists and Christians is that we have the Bible - the unerring word of God and we have our Faith.
God is unchanging. The bible is unchanging. Truth is eternal, and if you don't want to end up on a pitchfork, roasting and toasting for all eternity, you'll ignore these scientists and their pursuits that will finish ultimately with the eternal damnation of all mankind.

Hello again, It took me awhile to find this thread once more i am very sorry.
To tell you about myself
-i am 25
-i am a tutor for English 9-10
-i graduated from Woodcreek High school
-i went to Sac state
-i am very uneducated in the bible

I am only uneducated because as a child my parents had no time to take me to church. i know i know no excuse for not going but as a child i focused on school studies, not walking 3 1/2 miles to go to church.

That is why i asked so many questions as for my last post. I only know so much as from tales told when i went to bed and from things i have heard.

I can see that many people try and disprove this and that and have evidence of those and these. im going to have to say that the bible does have some agreeing truths in it,but i believe religion is harder to follow the more technology comes out and future is beheld.Such as the proof of genetics and all the mumbo jumbo.

What made you want to post your life story in a thread about retardeds? Is this where you feel most at home?

If you aren't Christian and you've never read the Holy Bible, then how can you hold an opinion about what it may or may not say?

Now, we all love Seeker in True Christian love here, but she's a woman, so she should know her place.
I'm a little concerned for her, frankly. It seems her husband is WAY too sissy on these thing.

No, we don't.
But that's the only verses that are relevant in your case, thus the only ones we quote at you.
Also, there are no verses that speak good of your kind..

Cause there is nothing in the Bible that supports discarding the Bible and following your own head or heart.
It's easier to go to hell than to go to Heaven, and that's why there are more verses like that in the Bible.
Because people need to heed it's warnings of hell.
