    Why are they calling this a hate crime ??

    God fearing Christians impede Catholicism's Satanic grip on Maywood California and the police call it a hate crime ?

    What is this country coming to?



    LOS ANGELES -- Police are describing the vandalism inside a Catholic church in Maywood as "a hate crime."
    Maywood-Cudahy police Capt. Herb Aguirre says vandals broke into the Santa Rosa de Lima Church late Sunday or early Monday.
    Aguirre says someone scrawled "666" in the kitchen, stuck a knife into a painting of the Virgin of Guadalupe and defecated in an auditorium.
    Police describe the vandalism as "of a heinous nature."
    Aguirre says police have no suspects so far.




    I am just totally confused. Destroying an idolatrous painting of the Virgin of Guadalupe is a crime? Heck, the government should call that performance art and give NEA grants for folks that want to violate Catholic paganism!!

      You know, Pastor, you could be right about that.

      The defecation would implicate a sexual deviant priest type. An inside job would explain a lot. And then the church there could exhort more moola from the parish to fund their priests next boy safari in Thailand.

        It's not right to perform vandalism, but the cathoholics had it coming! That's what you get for following the wrong religion.

          Are they sure this isn't alter boys coming back for their revenge? It sounds like something teenagers who are acting out will do.

                      You are right, I did not notice at first. I was not implying they have a religion. Perhaps I should have used the term cult, that fits them better. Or could I call them kiddy-touchy-cult?

                        "Love thy neighbor as thyself"?

                        Seems to me to be an awful thing, desecrating a church like that... even if you don't agree, there's little cause to do something so hateful.

                            Hateful is not the right term here, justice is more fitting.
