Denmark is one of the world's leading producers of modern windmills for electricity, not to be confused with the huge amount of old windmills in the Netherlands that where for corn milling, land drainage, saw milling, and in fact all manner of industrial purposes (these days the old mills are mainly tourist attractions) .

There is wooden shoes in both Denmark and The Netherlands, but in Denmark we are mostly using plastic shoes modelled after wooden shoes, as plastic is cheaper, more flexible and generally more comfortable.

And its Sweden and Norway with the Nobel prizes (there a LOT of different Nobel prizes), almost all the Nobel prizes are awarded in Sweden, only the Nobel peace prize is awarded in Norway.


And GodRapedMeAndILikeIt, please, keep a proper tone, you and i can disagree with the baptists all we like, but that dosnt justify saying things like people should go kill themselves.

Most nations has abandoned their monarchs as actual ruler, in Europe only 12 monarchies remain, 9 constitutional monarchies, 2 semi-constitutional monarchies, and 1 absolute monarchy.

In the constitutional monarchies, the monarch is officially head of state and has authority over the parliament.

In the semi-constitutional monarchies, the monarch is officially head of state, but the parliament is the supreme authority.

In the Absolute monarchy, the monarch officially has complete power to do what he wants... But the last absolute monarch in Europe is the Pope and he cant do anything that is against the Catholic interpretation of the bible, that and the fact that his army only consists of a couple hundred Swiss army veterans, severely limits his options for using his power.


No modern monarch dares to use their power (for fear of the parliament overthrowing them and establishing a full democracy), so their are basically just national symbols used to strengthen nationalist and patriotic feelings and attract tourists from Japan.


And the European union is just economic cooperation between the European countries, it has no more power than the heads of states of the European nations gives it... Kinda like the UN, but more focused on trade and only for Europeans...

The European Union is for us as Washington is for you. Too far away from both us and God. Ruled by corrupt politicians under influence from lobbyists they have no or little interest in the voters and their daily ordeal.

In fact there are no legislation regarding lobbyists in the European Union. It is a six-lane high way towards corruption.

To make matters worse the entire parliament is moving around between three cities. The European Union could settle this problem like the question of whether the U.S parliament should be located in Richmond instead was settled in the years between 1860 and 1865, but they have not started to debate this issue yet.

I havn't been in the Netherlands for years since the big flood in my early childhood. In fact my life had been marked by floodings as I have moved recently as result of the great Danish deluge of 2010.

I have to be more precise. What good has the senate and congress in store for you? How close are you to your locate senator or congressman? Are they interested in anything to demand our money as taxes and pay off huge bank managers who have ruined our economy?

I know that when they spoke about about the svine flu, Messersmith (not the plane but a politician) asked to receive the medication first because he was more important as a human as the voters. I know that another one is called Dan Joergensen because a former prime minister told the population that he is a good guy you can trust. I guess that he wont do anyone harm because none have heard him speak a sentence of his own. If you don't do anything, then you don't do anything wrong.

I was informed earlier that I had mistaken Denmark for the Netherlands. It's not the same thing? I thought that's where all that Aesops fables stuff all came from.

First of all they are COUNTRIES not CITIES, big difference there mate.
Lets see.. In Denmark they speak Danish and in The Netherlands they speak Dutch. The Danish flag is red and white whereas flag of the The Netherlands is is red, white and blue.

We are paying off the debts made by countries like Greece. At least we have to send people down to get a free lunch.

It is expensive to run this kind of parliament. In the old days they met a 3 several places: Luxembourg, Strasbourg and Brussels. Then the chairs in Luxembourg turned out not to be wide enough with all this good food they got served just after they had finished an expansion of the building. In general they were tired of moving from their seats, so they tried to stop the use of other houses than the one in Brussels. They have good beer and chocolate in Belgium, that's why. But France objected so some days every month the officials wake the members and carry them to busses and then it is off to Strasbourg.
