Why can't they just go on with their lives? Why do they have to try and tear down those who believe in God?

It's very sad.

There is a little thing i would like to say to relativize that (is relativize the good word here?)
There aren't only atheists who try to convince believers to stop, it also goes in the other way, with a little reflexion, both of them are annoying the other, saying that you are only the victim is false. Also, and is have to apologize to speak again about that, some atheists or agniostics people are not here to convince you that you are wrong, but they want to speak or just understand you're point of view, nothing to bad i think.

From all religion of the world, you take the religion from the place where you are born.

You actually don't choose your religion, a child wich is born in Iran will have the Islam as religion, a baby that is born in America will become a christian, and someone born in Italy will have great chance to be a catholic.

Your parents mostly decide what your going to believe or the environment where you live.

PS: Atheism is not a religion, it's quite the opposite.

Going out from the princip that your god is the truly one and exists, there are still other religions remaining, and if a newborn is told that islam is true, there are chances that he believes in islam. That's the princip.

No, I haven't started loving Jesus yet. But I have however taken quite a liking to you that could one day lead to love.

I have conducted a list of my best qualities that I hope will cause you to fall madly in love with me:

1. 4th prestige on Call of Duty
2. Really good at massages
3. Enjoy long walks on the beach and sunsets/sunrises
4. Can do 5 cartwheels in a row (without even getting dizzy )
5. Can do a 70mph tennis serve
6. Can cook quite well
7. Once did a handstand for 34 seconds ()

So define bad. That some people have you to see a miracle to believe in it? That some people quesition their existence.

There are over 10000 religions. How do we know which one is the correct one?

Thor and Odin, the Norse Gods, were in Denmark before Christianity. Which should I choose? How do you know which is the correct faith?

With so many options, so many ways to confuse me, how can you blame anyone for not believing, since they have no idea what to believe in? Which sounds most reasonable? I know a former Christian who converted to Islam, she says it's the most logical faith.

What do you base your assumption on, that christianity is the correct faith? And why, since faith is a feeling, can you dislike anyone who doesn't share the same feeling, as feeling are subjective.

Subjectivity is mentioned in the rules to sign up on this site. It says: "Opinions concerning the technical difficulties, fitness requirements, safety, and ratings of self-crucifixion, flagellation, stoning, destroying enemies of GOD utterly, without mercy, and other activities inherent in Christianity are subjective and may differ from yours or others' opinions"

So what makes YOUR view of christianity the right one from MINE?

I don't have a branch of Christianity.

I'm an agnostic atheist.

If I ever see anything supernatural, which can't be explained (not just by me, since I'm not a doctor, or carpenter, or engineer or whatever. I lack the knowledge). If I see something which truly is unexplainable, then I shall believe.

I haven't seen such a thing, which is why I am here. I want to understand.

I asked a christian friend and we had many conversations. In the end, she told me that christianity is a feeling. You believe when you have the feeling. And since feelings are subjective, I cannot help but wonder about the truth.

Right now, my belief is that since there are so many subjective feelings and opinions in regards of all the different religions, I'd rather believe in what is universal for all of us.

Like a tree. The tree outside is not just a tree to me, but to you, too and everyone else. We may have different words, but it's all the same. It's not a lightpole. It doesn't shine. It's a tree.

So, I don't understand (but I want to) how one can believe in someone that everyone else believes in, too, but have different views of what it is about. Like, a religious tree isn't just a tree. Some see it as a real lamp-post while others see it as a car.

The issue with Islam, which I think you will agree with, is that they take their book so literal (like killing innocents who doesn't believe, etc..) Some things in christianity are the same in Islam, but Christianity has moved since then, evolved, and I wonder, of all the directions it evolved into, which one is the correct one?

In the end, it shouldn't matter what you believe in, but that you DO believe.
