I'll answer that; Self Aware Sinner = Pharisee, as for the Publican I am not sure who, none of us are employees of the IRS. I doubt if that idiot SAS even knows what a Publican in the Roman Empire was and why a Publican would fear the Wrath of God and his fellow man.

Disjointed thoughts, badly structured meandering sentences, and poor keyboard awareness certainly doesn't help his cause.

I picked up something about Iowa, God, Jesus, and satan but beyond that it was largely meaningless to me.

I think this "pastor" needs a time out to get his act together.

ps. Do you think holding a stick makes you more Christian? Does the Bible say Jesus held a stick when he gave His sermons? Jesus is a shepherd in Spirit, what you are holding is possibly an idol, if it makes you think doing so will save you, which it simply can't.

Edit-- The proper way to refer to people is by using the pronoun 'who'. "God will judge those WHO judge others".

Unfortunately, many matters are not quite as simple as they might seem. The use of "that" to refer to people is standard practice amongst nearly all respectable writers.

A quote from the Oxford Dictionary of English Usage may be of assistance to you:

It is generally felt that the relative pronoun that is more impersonal
than who/whom, and is therefore slightly depreciatory if applied to a
person. Hence it tends to be avoided in formal usage.

However, if
(i) the relative pronoun is the object, and

(ii) the personality of the antecedent is suppressed that may well be appropriate, e.g.

Then the woman that they actually caught and pinned down
would not have been Margot (Evelyn Waugh)
They looked now just like the GIs that one saw in Viet Nam
(David Lodge)

Informally that is acceptable with any personal antecedent, e.g.
You got it from the man that stole the horse
(G.B.Shaw)
Honey, it's me that should apologize
(David Lodge)
