I want to start this post out with a few quotes from the Authorized King James Version (KJV) of 1611 found at http://www.jesus-is-lord.com/thebible.htm.


First:

THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO Saint Luke
Chapter 2
7 - And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Obviously, with this being what was said in a previous post as the only acceptable and true version of the bible, this must mean that Mary was Jesus's mother, for it says she brought forth HER firstborn SON. To the person who said that Jesus was not Mary's son but he was God, you are both right and wrong. Jesus was God in Human form, however, having had to be born to humans, someone had to be his mother, and God chose for Mary to be that person, for she found favor in God's eyes.

Next Quote:

Chapter 2
41 - Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.

Obviously, his refers to Jesus' parents, although Joseph was not his father whereas Mary was his mother. Anyway, they went to Jerusalem for passover because they were Jewish, and being that Jesus was born of Mary's flesh, he was also Jewish. To argue this is to simply shows ignorrance. Plain and simple.

Now, to the people who keep saying over and over that God wrote the bible and not man, you are wrong. God did not write the bible. He sent his words down to his Children, both men and woman, prophets and not, and had them write the bible. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy were all written by Moses, and as you noticed in the quotes above in the New Testiment, were in the Gospel ACCORDING TO Luke, not GOD. God did not write the bible in any language, for he did not write the bible at all.

Now for the people who talk about how homosexuality is a sin and an abomintion to God because it says so in Leviticus, here is a quote for you. It also said in Leviticus that eating Pork was unclean. Quote Below:

11:7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be
clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to
you.
11:8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye

In the New Testement Christ said this:

Chapter 7
7:18 - And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;

7:19 - Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
7:20 - And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
7:21 - For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
7:22 - Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 7:23 - All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Basically, what Jesus was telling his followers that what was in the old testament was considered old law and since he had come down to earth to die on the cross the only law was to accept him as the True Christ and Messiah. The old law no longer came into effect.

Also to the person who said that anyone can go to heaven if the simply put in their tithe, may I remind you that the bible says plainly and simply

THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO Saint John
Chapter 3


17. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

This clearly says that in order to go to Heaven, you must believe that Jesus Christ is the one true Messiah. END OF STORY.

For those of you who read this and think that I am going to go to hell for accually taking what the bible literally for what it says, please, I would love to hear you thoughts on the situation.
