Brother Guy and others, This is my last post until I turn 18. Yes, i list one of my interest as guns. I enrolled on that sight when I was 12, and one my hobbies now is Gun education. I would not use guns to kill people, and as Just Some Angry Guy stated, hunting is a sport, but I would only hunt that which I would eat, or that which is causing problems to an industry, for instance foxes killing sheep. To the pastor who banned me, rest assured that I have investigated Islam deeply. This is a prerequisite of being a Muslim. In Islam, the Quran and Hadith teach us that we should not follow religion blindly just because it is the religion of our forefathers; this is what the polytheists said to prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him in order to disobey the commands of God almighty. Rather, In Islam, we are challenged by God Almighty in the Quran to investigate the Religion, and there are challenges and the like for those who claim that Islam is false, or is inspired from the devil or false gods. For instance, If it was inspired by the devil, why then are Muslims ordered to pay Zakat (Alms) to the poor each year? Why are they ordered to love their mothers, "for heaven is at the feet of your mother"? Why does Islam order us to respect Christians and Jews, as well as other religions? Why did the profit Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him forgive all of those who persecuted him after he reclaimed the city of Mecca? Why do Muslims openly state and believe that they follow the one and only true God, the God of the Christians and of the Jew? Are these teachings of the Devil? Would the devil divide the descendants of Adam by telling them to do good deeds and be humble? Or would he divide us by telling us to do that which is evil and bad, and which would verily cause pain and anguish on earth? Thank you all for having me here. For those who understood that my purpose is to promote interfaith understanding, thank you so much. For those who did not, I pray that God Almighty will give you the strength to love your fellow human beings. It is easy to hate, but the hardest thing is to love. Saint Ignatius College Adelaide, a Catholic School, and the reason is that it is an academic school; if I lived in a Muslim country, I would go to a Muslim school. In Adelaide, the Muslim Schools are not as well able to sustain themselves, and their curriculum is not yet perfected. For one, learn how to spell defense. For another, now someone like you has went down to as far as name calling? What in the hell is wrong with you? Just because he likes guns doesnt make him violent or anything of the sort. Hunting is a sport, in fact, a sport which is loved by many from where i come from. There is nothing wrong with having a liking for gins, nothing at all, just ask George Bush.

Everyone knows the run of the mill suburban towelhead uses guns only for armed holdups, religious discussions,soccer matches, and gangrapes. They don't use them for godly pursuits like hunting or home defence.

I notice in the Afghan forums of which you are a member, you list among your interests as "guns". Is this how you plan to promote peace, tolerance and love ? With a firearm? Sort of makes your repetition of "peace be upon you" kind of meaningless, don't it?

You do realize that it is the job of the Islamic Scholars to say whatever they have to say to make sure you keep believing, don't you? You need to find out the answers for yourself. Don't rely on the answers that others feed you. It's fine if you read your Quran and your Hadiths, but do the work of verifying them. How do you know that the words in them are true? Do you believe it because your parents and your Imam say they are true? Are you thinking for yourself or are you letting others think for you?

I am not a Muslim Scholar, I am only 16, but I have read the teachings of Islamic Scholars on these type of issues, and rest assured that they have provided good responses.
