What about the time God lifted the veil of protection and allowed the terrorists to destroy the World Trade Center to punish the US for its tolerance of feminism, gay rights, and witchcraft?

Are you missing the pattern here?

    Pastor Billy-Reuben
I do not believe in god. Why would I believe that I would be punished by something which does not exist? I wouldn't and I don't.

Furthermore if these naturally occuring disasters were actually the work of god, then why doesn't a disaster occur for all the times there are Swedish child-sex tourist touring, for every Gay Pride parade that is being celebrated, for feminism that strongly exists still, for the witches that continue their witchcraft?
If god was in existence and wanted to rid the world of all these things you see as evil, then I assure you'd be building yourself a little boaty for your cult of true christians and I would be drowning as he flood the world with his punishment.
Last I checked I'm dry, warm, and living. Your god must not care that I am flaunting my "evils" in front of you and himself, but I didn't think he would since he does not exist.

I'm sorry, but being goth has little if anything to do with a dog and a bag of greased jelly beans. You scare me. I'm glad for the girls on here that are Pagan and different. They have enough of a backboke to stand up to people who would hurt them.

'Rev Green, You say all Goths are freaks, perverts and homosexuals. Well my son is a Goth, but he is a decent kid who has a girlfriend. They seem like very happy and well adjusted teenagers.'

I did find it very sad that this poor parent was being so badly brainwashed into believing evey goth lie she was being force-fed. Here is my reply to her -

Thank you for your letter. You may not realize it, but you have just hit the nail on the head. They ‘seem’ like well adjusted teenagers. Yes, your son may indeed have a girlfriend, and everything may ‘seem’ normal to you. But do you monitor his every move? NO! Because I would be willing to bet that when you are not around he gets up to all sorts of sick twisted perversions. He probably has 2 or 3 male friends who anally rape him on a regular basis. He also probably drinks babies’ blood, and engages in orgies with animals, some of whom will be dead. His girlfriend is probably having lesbian sex with many of her so-called ‘harmless’ Gothic friends also. ALL Goths are deviants. Make no mistake - your son is in very real danger here.

See, We know your kind better than you think. I hope you get the mental help you need.

I am NOT a BOY! The name is Aki, and it means fall in Japanese. My avatar is the character Freya from Chobits. SHE is FEMALE!

I don't believe in Satan being that I am Wiccan. I believe, however, that there is a duality (for the simple minded: a light and a dark side) to every religion and life.

How can you honestly say that the straight goths are also homosexual in the same sentence. This is the type of wording that made me separate from the church once and for all.

In society, I know several hard working straight goth people who do not participate in any party of any sort including dinners at the homes of friends and don't have a love. They just want to spend life being as useful to corporate America until their god reveals their destined love to them. Most also don't have pets. Do your research on demographics.

Indeed most goths are deviants just not in the way you think. I'll quote the Broadway show RENT by Johnathan Larson: "Viva la vie bohem!" Take a listen to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czJHTEeEJmU. View and listen for the content.

I was in the same production and the costume design was from the goth glam based on the band KISS and that era of music. It was one of the most provocative of its time and still is. It was also one of the funnest shows that I have had the pleasure of performing in. Look it up on YouTube.

You cannot be saved until the Holy Ghost has to convict you of your sins, and you repent from your sins and do not return to them. A person who is saved will do good works as a natural consequence, but good works will not get you saved.

Since you don't have time to read the whole Bible, please try to find time to read our FAQ. You can find the link in my signature.

If you had read your Bible, or our FAQ, then you would know the following:
        • Born again Christians are without sin, because Jesus has forgiven our sins and washed them away.
        • The word neighbors is defined in the Bible. Our neighbors are our fellow Christians.
        • We love sinners, and try to save them. The language we use is no harsher than the language Jesus used in His fiery sermon in Matthew 23.
        • Christians are COMMANDED to judge others. My job as a pastor is to get folks saved. If I am not allowed to judge whether someone is in need of salvation, how am I supposed to find folks in need? If you had read Matthew 7:1 in context, you would know that it is a prohibition against hypocrisy, not judgment.

The point that I was making was that God did not write the KJV Bible, nor was it written for Americans, but for the European Catholic Church, so that they could have one uniformed Bible to use.

You have missunderstood me, but I do see where it could seem that is what I was trying to say. No, I still believe in the Old Testement, and I follow the Ten Commandments. I do not believe in Adultry, nor murder, to theft, nor idolitry. However, I do recall Christ saying that certian laws in Leviticus are considered "Old Law" since he came to earth and live and die for our sins.

Also, I have read the whole bible, and there is one verse that always sticks out.

            1 John 4:7-12
[7] Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
[8] He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
[9] In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
[10] Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
[11] Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
[12] No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

I have always lived my Christian life believing that you catch more flies with Sugar than you do with vinegar. I let people know the minute I meet them that I am a Christian. Then, by showing love to all people and not passing Judgement on them, they want to find out more about my faith. It is not only a Pastors job to bring people to Christ, it is every Christian's job, and I take my job seriously. I treat everyone with respect and dignity, while also letting them know why I don't agree with certian lifestyles they choose, all the while, never passing judgement on them.

You may pray for me all you want, but do not pray for my salvation, for I have already found it. Instead, pray that we can all understand and respect each other instead of treating each other like garbage.
John 8:7 - So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

            • Re: I'm A Goth: Is That Bad?

Congregation, please be seated and open your prayer guides to the book of revelations, psalm 69.

1 Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.

2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

3 I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.

4 They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.

5 O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.

6 Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.

7 Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.

8 I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.

9 For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

10 When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.

11 I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.

12 They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.

13 But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

14 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

15 Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

16 Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.

17 And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.

18 Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.

19 Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.

20 Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

22 Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.

23 Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.

24 Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.

25 Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.

26 For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.

27 Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.

28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

29 But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.

30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

31 This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.

32 The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.

33 For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.

34 Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.

35 For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.

36 The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.

All of the laws still apply to Jewish people. The ceremonial laws do not apply (and never did apply) to the Gentiles. Each law that does not apply to the Gentiles is mentioned explicitly in the New Testament.

To that, I can only say Amen. I am full of God's love. God's love is the exact opposite of political correct "tolerance". I will not tolerate sin, and I will do everything I can to help the sinner get saved.

The flies/sugar/vinegar analogy doesn't work. There is a time for both methods. Sometimes strong language is required to wake someone up. Jesus wasn't afraid to use strong language when He needed to.

You hate the sin but love the sinner, just like us.

If you tell someone you don't agree with their lifestyle choice, then haven't you passed judgment? You might say that you aren't judging the person -- you are only judging the choice they make about who they are.

However, the sinner whose lifestyle you are judging will not be able to split the same hair, and will believe that you are judging them as a person. Sinners are so enslaved to sin, that they define themselves by their sin. So if you are judging their lifestyle choice, then in their eyes, you are judging them as well.

I have family members who are devout christians who had beautiful but mentaly retarded children. These souls, if given the right attention and education, become the greatest artists and workers I know. They're only more gifted and intelligent than you are.

Trixie, dear, would you please post the pic of my from our production of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show? If they thought you were goth....

I was in the same production and the costume design was from the goth glam based on the band KISS and that era of music. It was one of the most provocative of its time and still is. It was also one of the funnest shows that I have had the pleasure of performing in. Look it up on YouTube.

Also, Trixie, you are a beautiful woman with many redeeming features. I am proud to call you a friend.

Thank you, Meserti. As a Wiccan, I'll reiterate, I do not believe in Satan but rather acknowledge the dark side of all things in this world. I practice healings and what would be considered light magic.
Waking in the nearly negroid darkness of the accursed Nordic winter, I hurry to the American Internets for succor and spiritual uplift... only to find the Godly wisdom of Landover interspersed with further ravings by murderous little Wiccans and Goth girls. I am NOT a BOY! The name is Aki, and it means fall in Japanese. My avatar is the character Freya from Chobits. How many false gods can one stick in the soup? Have they never heard the saying, "too many cooks spoil the broth"? And when these chefs de cuisine are actually foreign demons, the mongrel offspring of an alien madness?! At least there are only two genders for these cheerleaders of the Devil to confuse in the cauldron of their diabolical "duality." It is like unto a vast, bubbling kettle of frijoles negros flavored with the sorts of spices that make the foreigners to whom American work is outsourced malodorous.

I have family members who are devout christians who had beautiful but mentaly retarded children. These souls, if given the right attention and education, become the greatest artists and workers I know. Here Satan seems to have blended a bit of truth into the noxious mixture this gothic boy-girl slurps, the better to enslave what is left of his addled mind. Reading this, I immediately thought of the massive exhibit of degenerate art put on by the pagan Nazis. Did not this band "KISS" use the runes of the Schutzstaffel in its very name? Since the Nazis' defeat (for which we can thank the Lord, [though not everything about Adolf was so bad, of course -- large families and the fertile, submissive Hausfrau were at least exalted, and the Autobahn built]), artistic retards have surged back into public life in Europe. These Gothic mooncalves seem to have developed an allergy to everything that is wholesome, as though there were not healthy artists like Norman Rockwell. Son, there is plenty of Christian art available at ebay. Borrow your parents' credit cards and get some (but stay away from the cathylick stuff) -- and while you're at it, tithe (asking their permission, of course; I am certain that those who spawned you will be delighted to see you recovering from your steady diet of drugs and the poisonous soup of witchcraft).

                      Sincerely,
                      Magna, née Magnus

Pastors and sisters and condom wrapper guy (magnum), how closed minded thoust be!
With all the evils of my heart, I come to you willingly with open arms, and yet you turn away from The Light One's way. Lucifer loves you!

                        --------------------------------------------------------------

Got a big plan, his mind's set, maybe it's right
At the right place and right time, maybe tonight
In a whisper or handshake sending a sign
Wanna make out and kiss hard, wait never mind
                        want to hold you close
                        Skin pressed against me tight
Lie still, and close your eyes girl
So lovely, it feels so right
I want to hold you close
                        Soft breath, beating heart
As I whisper in your ear
I want to fucking tear you apart

                        ---------------------------------

This shining city built of gold, a far cry from innocence,
There's more than meets the eye round here, look to the waters of the deep.
                        A city of evil.
There sat a seven-headed beast, ten horns raised from his head.
Symbolic woman sits on his throne, but hatred strips her and leaves her naked.
                        The Beast and the Harlot.

She's a dwelling place for demons.
She's a cage for every unclean spirit,
every filthy bird and makes us drink
the poisoned wine to fornicating with our kings.
Fallen now is Babylon the Great.

The city dressed in jewels and gold, fine linen, myrrh and pearls.
Her plagues will come all at once as her mourners watch her burn.
                        Destroyed in an hour.
Merchants and captains of the world, sailors, navigators too.
Will weep and mourn this loss with her sins piled to the sky,
                        The Beast and the Harlot.

She's a dwelling place for demons.
She's a cage for every unclean spirit,
every filthy bird and makes us drink
the poisoned wine to fornicating with our kings.
Fallen now is Babylon the Great.

The day has come for all us sinners.
If you're not a servant, you'll be struck to the ground.
                        Flee the burning, greedy city.
Lookin' back on her to see there's nothing around.

I don't believe in fairytales and no one wants to go to hell.
You've made the wrong decision and it's easy to see.
Now if you wanna serve above or be a king below with us,
You're welcome to the city where your future is set forever.

She's a dwelling place for demons.
She's a cage for every unclean spirit,

Fallen now is Babylon the Great.

And since when have I become a witch? Last I checked I am just unsaved trash.

But in all seriousness, do not piss me off, I am running out of places to bury the bodies.

It seems like you need a time-out, harlot. I suggest you spend the time allotted in deep prayer for Jesus to smile down upon you.

In all seriousness, do not piss Jesus off. The pits of hell are bottomless.

True, Jesus did get angry and use strong language, but I don't believe that he called every single person who had a slight disagreeance with him a "fat pasty-faced" goth. No, I know that it was not you who called me that, but it was Pastor "Zeke" as someone else called him, but as a pastor of you church, I think that was a little too harsh. He did not and does not know me, yet he passed false witness on me.

(But he's seen your profile photo, so he knows what is true! --Zeke)
