For some people the lyrics are meaningless. For some people all words are meaningless. For them there is neither Salvation nor communication. Here is some "lyrics" which they'd consider meaningless:

PSALM 23 .KJV . look up

They were not meaningless for the person who wrote them. The LORD in His lovingkindness had saved the author's life. From lives of wretched ignorance Christians have been saved too. Saved by God. That is the significance of the psalm.

In this thread, people claim that their lives have been saved by Gerrard Way or by the Chemical Romances or in other threads by Juggalos and Marilyn Manson and Frank Zero and every freak in other words except Jesus. That's why inhibitions against cross-dressing or weird-psychoism are abandoned. With no fixed moral standard why not go the whole hog and nuke some kindergartens or pump LSD into the gas supply? Tenses, do you understand them? "For all HAVE sinned..." = past tense, stuff that happened in the past, k? No True Christian™ would claim that they have never sinned. What they do claim (and the Bible backs them up on this), is that once they repented accepted Jesus as their Saviour, the sins are washed from them by Jesus' blood.

And after that (also backed up by the Bible), they do not sin. They cannot sin. As lying is a sin, they do not lie. They may have in the past (before they became True Christians™), but no longer.
