    Beware the Haka!

As if having had the negros and the Irish drunkards and Italianos moving to our shores so long ago wasn't bad enough, a new dangerous foreign, godless culture apparently invaded the state of Texas mere years ago:

This article is from 2006, so I was wondering if the situation has gotten worse since then? What are we to do as True Christians to prevent this godless voodoo ritual from destroying America? When will people start waking up to the fact that Obama is the living embodiment of all that is evil and vile?
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

The forces of evil in this world are listed here, post #9.

    Re: Beware the Haka!

I think you should be all right as long as you don't adopt the Godless game of ruggerball, as played by Welshmen. But if you do that, this is what happens:

Where are the wholesome cheerleaders and she-bear mascots?

I'm deeply ashamed to reveal that my only sister married one of those New Zlnders - a kind of Australian. They're the ones in black in the video. Her husband isn't a Maori, but his mother is Croatian which is a lot worse.

Their children have grown up speaking a barely comprehensible dialect called Kiwi. I pretend to understand them, but conversation is difficult and sometimes I worry that I'm saying "Yes", thinking they're asking if I want a cup of coffee, when really they're expressing foul and Godless opinions.

There should be a worldwide ban on the Haka. It isn't clever and it isn't funny.

But the game's called Rugby, and the Haka is a tradition, man, you guys are cool and all, but this is actually a long standing cultural tradition, just leave this one.

In the name of Jesus the most holy and all that is good, I command thee to do your stupid haka dance in some other direction, and to quit bothering us here on Landover Baptist. As Bernie Mac said in the movie Guess Who when the phone started to ring, "Thank you."

Thank you dear, and welcome to Landover Baptist. I expect you mean well. But most New Zilnders - I mean the ones that can read, not the brawny but uneducated ruggerball players, most of whom are Samoan - are rather short and puny. And I always carry a can of mace.

I really look forward to meeting you on the Introduction Forum.

Who can tell one group of English convicts from another, or needs to? Besides, they all talk the same.

                    Re: Beware the Haka!

I agree that this haking is a pagan ritual and should be stopped. I would like to mention that this behavior is not widespread in Texas. It may be interesting to note the origin of this ceremony.

Most Texans, especially small town Texans, who have absolutely nothing to do except work and go to church of a Sunday, take football very seriously. In fact, every person who can still breathe goes to every game. You'd think this would be dangerous from a vaunerability to crime perspective, but the burglars go to every game, too.

This foolish haka dancing craze is done at a few small schools in the Panhandle region of Texas, which is far to the north. It was adopted as a compromise when it became customary for the losing teams in important games to commit ritual sepuku, which is a godless Chinese form of suicide from Japan. That practice had a deliterious effect on the labor pool and farm labor (they are in cotton country) is hard to come by.

The surviving young men were convinced that the version of self murder they were indulging in was against God's will and they would not be off to Heaven, as they had been assuming. In fact, they would have to go to Hell and it was better, if they had to offend God, to at least survive and make ammends later in order to be saved. Thus the Haking.

                      Re: Beware the Haka!

Haka is meaningless. I recently bought an instrument of the devil that is called by the obviously demonic name ROKU.

They have more than two hundred channels dedicated to Religion and Spirituality, and it is my awareness that this is a forest ripe for the plucking.

I will seek now for some form of haiku in my insolent bible, for to make you bastards pay attention to me now.

If I do not find it, it will obviously be because you ( yes, YOU ) are a sinner.
