Re: Australia is Doomed
Sorry, I try to try with the English, but sometime don't go as I plan.

Re: Australia is Doomed
Seeing as I used to live in the US and moved here later, that old fight, horrible as it was, does not involve my ancestors.
And please stop butchering the english language. It's most unsightly.

You seem familiar somehow. But, all fundies sound the same, so that could well be it.Originally posted by OnYourKnees View PostWhat would tree-people use for weapons, anyway? A wet ball of leaves? Pine cones?

And I am a MRS, not a miss, little boy.
Well, you do have a point there but they still weren't as bad as xtians and muslims.Your question is invalid, as throughout history, no tree-demon worshippers have ever gained control of a civilised country with an army. By the way, do Vikings count as Pagans? What about Aztecs?
And besides, do you see many Aztecs and Vikings around these days?
Such a charming man, aren't you. You know just what to say to take a gal's breath away.GOD PUT YOU ON THIS EARTH AND GOD CAN TAKE YOU OUT! OR WE CAN, IN HIS NAME!

Re: Australia is Doomed
I think Wiccans are just fine (not)
Recalling a navy mate of mine from long ago. True story, nothing added.
KBA (name withheld for good taste)
identified himself as a satanist
(this was thirty-five years ago, btw).
He and I, and most of us, lived aboard our ship, a repair/supply ship, generally tethered to a pier of the navy base.
I had a car for my own recreational use, kept in the nearby parking lot.
Ken did not.
I had a duty day one Sunday--working a full day then a "watch" of four hours.
Ken did not.
Ken: "Peter, can I use your car for a run to the base's coin laudromat? I want to get my clothes done today."
"OK Ken, but just that. Stay on base."
"You bet."
-----
Six hours later:
"I'm back."
"Where's my car key?"
"The pound has it."
"What????"
"It's OK. Your car's there. It's not so bad."
"What???"
"I had a minor accident."
-----
What he'd done: Drove my car off-base, smoking reefer in my car,
sailed through an intersection, not noticing the stop sign.
He collided, T-boning a car driven by a mother,
with her six year old HEMOPHILIAC son in the front seat.
He wrecked two cars and 'nearly killed' a bleeder;
(neither mom or her boy were truly injured, though, thanks go to God for that).
-He did not pay to disempound my car.
-He said he would help fix the car (he did not).
-He never offered a "sorry". He only said, "accidents happen."
-----
This is why I do not cotton to witches and whorelocks
like Kendal Bruce Asher who probably would screw up even a Rachael Van Helsing. No doubt. It's what all your kind do--it's all about abusing trust
and ducking Jesus's commandments.
THOU SHALT NOT GO OFF BASE.

Re: Australia is Doomed
That has never happened and I don't believe it ever will. Have you ever heard any songs that go 'onward pagan/wiccan soldiers, marching out to war'?
Nope, last I heard that and many other such things are in the xtian repertoire.
When's the last you heard of a war in the name of one of the nature-based religions?
Pretty much all religiously motivated wars are motivated by the abrahamic religions (ie xtianity, catholicism, protestant, islam, judaism etc)

You won't think its so "nice" when they kick your doors in and butcher you and your family in the middle of the night, just because they want to worship the high tide or some such demonic crap. Peaceful indeed....

Well, it's nice there are more believers in nature and peaceful religions around but I actually agree with you about the pentecostal evangelists around here. I've seen some of those and seriously, I thought I'd stepped into a movie set of the sequel to 'invasion of the body snatchers'. *shudder*

Australia is Doomed
As if we needed further evidence that the land of unsaved criminals and nigra-beasts is hated by God, HERE is a new report that shows which cults are the most popular these days. This will turn your stomach, if you love Jesus.
The wiccian cult is growing at 130% per year?! This explains a lot. God Hates Australia! Praise Jesus!Young Australians attracted to demonic forms of worship
A survey shows that new and emerging churches are popular with young Australians and that ‘nature religions’ and Scientology are growing strongly.
The survey was published in Professor Gary Bouma’s book, Australian Soul: Religion and Spirituality in the Twenty-First Century.
Professor Bouma said Australia’s youth was flocking to new and emerging ‘mega-churches’, such as those of Christian Pentecostals, engaging in energetic forms of worship that he calls ’spiritual aerobics’.
This was despite the fact that Australians were not as religious as Americans and could be skeptical of US-style evangelism.
Professor Bouma said it was considered un-Australian to “trumpet encounters with the spiritual like some American televangelist”.
But he said that religion overall was growing and that 74.7 per cent of Australians now identified themselves with a religious group.
Patterns of belief were also increasingly diverse: the number of people who aligned themselves with ‘Other Religions’ was up 33 per cent on the count in the Australian census in 2001.
Among the religions on the rise are Buddhism, up 79 per cent since 1996, Islam, up 40 per cent, Hinduism up 42 per cent, and Pentecostalism, up 11 per cent.
Nature religions, including Wicca and witchcraft had grown by 130 per cent and Scientology had 37 per cent more followers.
