If you are such a hardcore religious freak that you can't enjoy cartoons, comic books, and video games, then yes, you are enslaved by your beliefs. I have a problem with that because all of you people are not enjoying yourselves the way you could be, simply because you are scared to live.

You are the one demanding that we prove everything we say. You said "satan doesn't exist" so prove it. Follow your own rules, heathen.

It's satan's favorite trick to make us think he doesn't exist. But since he is mentioned in the Holy Bible, then satan is as real as everything else God tells us about.

I have to admit, growing up I did enjoy the campy Batman television show. I remember reading that Batman was originally based on Robin Hood. I must admit that I now have ambivalent feelings about Batman. On one hand, one could see it as being a case of a homosexual relationship, but I prefer to see it more as a case of generosity of a wealthy man to adopt an orphan. Robin lost his entire family and Batman has become his substitute father. This might be a little off topic, but my great aunt in Hong Kong has a credit card where a portion of purchases goes to an orphanage. Wouldn't it be wonderful if more credit cards instead of offering rewards to their customers offered donations to charities. Back to Batman. He dates women, and recently had a relationship with Wonder Woman. So, is Batman really a way of influencing children concerning homosexuality? Even if he were, he is by far not the only image that our children are likely to come across that may suggest homosexuality. I prefer to point out the positive aspects of what he tries to do. He believes in justice. He intentionally avoids deadly force. Bruce Wayne, the wealthy playboy persona, is also a great philanthropist donating money to worthy causes. He helps out strangers in trouble. No one is perfect, not even fictional characters. We need to help our children to be able to make value judgements and find the good that exists in almost everyone around us.

I refused to watch this TV show because the whole set-up of single, millionaire Bruce Wayne dining every night with his (underage, male) "ward" was just too distasteful. Then there was the fey old butler always hanging around.

(And if you think I'm overreacting, just look at the evidence provided in the original comic strip, below.)

The series was nothing but an attempt to groom our children into thinking it was okay to live with men who wore tights.

PS: Has anyone else heard Hellyweird is going to be making a movie of this???
